Arrived 3rd of August for 3 night stay.stayed in Sgurr Mhor chalet which was lovely.parents stayed in a chalet behind ours but the views from both chalets were stunning. Chalets were spacious and had everything needed and we really enjoyed our stay.could have sat all day looking at the view-one small thing was the windows could have done with a clean but that didn’t spoil the experience.we travelled about and it’s in a great position for exploring the area. The staff were all friendly and the site well laid out and will definitely be back -thanks woody and the team for a relaxing break in these strange time !!

We stayed for 4 nights in a deluxe, pet friendly caravan with a Loch view, it was lovely. The view was stunning. The caravan was well equipped and heating kept it warm and cosy. The site was really good and we found it a good location for our first trip to Scotland to visit Loch Ness, Glen Coe and Arisaig beaches. The site was very safe considering the current pandemic climate with extra precautions in place around the reception area and the staff were so helpful. They even went the extra mile to post some shoes to us that we left behind which was greatly appreciated !

Amazing place, dog friendly. Caravans are well equipped. Living Room is big with an amazing view to lake. It was cold in the evenings and functioning fireplace was amazing. We went there to climb Ben Navies and had amazing time. But need to beare in mind there is no shops arround or restaurants. It's for people who like simplicity and being in the nature.

Positives - Beautiful location, we stayed in a gold star caravan, pet friendly in a great spot on site, booked direct with a very helpful lady over the phone. Cons- the bed was the most uncomfortable I have ever stayed on me and my partner have got home in a high degree of pain would have been more comfortable in a tent! Considering the covid situation it wasn't spotless, the sink in the bathroom had hair in it and alot of the plates cutlery was dirty in the cupboards so felt it necessary to spend an hour and a half disinfecting the surfaces, thankfully I opted to take my own towels and bedding. Also take your own toilet role it isn't provided which I found odd all self catering I have been in before has done and thats how I always opt to stay due to the dogs. Would use the site again but not in a caravan or I would check the bed situation we really are both in agony! 3 stars shame but could easily be alot more with a few tweaks.

We had orginally intended to camp but this was not possible due to coronavirus, meaning that they had not opened their toilets and showers this season. We hired a mobile home instead which was much better because it was rather rainy the week we were there. This had a nice view of the loch from the lounge window. It was clean and fully equipped except for things like soap, washing up liquid and tea towels although there was a j-cloth and also a sponge-scourer for washing up. We chose to bring our own linen and towels instead of paying extra but, even if we hired these, we would still need to make up the beds on arrival and strip them on departure. The site overall is arranged so that most pitches or onsite accommodation have an elevated view, facing roughly south-west over the loch. About halfway along the shore frontage is a boat ramp. The shore is predominately stony and the part to the west of the boat ramp rather difficult to walk on. However, it is a nice walk in the other direction, up to where a stream runs into the sea and there is also a walking track back from the shore through woodland which apparently is part of the camp site's land. Right at the other end of the site is a childrens' playground. The northern perimeter is defined by the railway line, along which, 4 times daily, a steam train can be seen to pass in its way to or back from Mallaig. Diesel services also run but the station at Corpach is about 2.75 km away. Certain facilities of the camp - like the shop - were closed due to coronavirus restrictions although we could not be sure whether, it being term-time, all facilities would normally be open. We couldn't get the WiFi to work properly at our location but we were some dstance from the reception etc. where we understood it would work - we didn't try, the weather being a disincentive! However, mobile phone reception was good so it is easy to tether if you wish to use a computer and you have sufficient data.
