Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

You won't get a better view! Caravan was very clean; as was the site, everything needed in the accommodation. The staff were lovely and approachable. Lots of advice and recommendations given. Close to town. Amazing view of the train going through. Will return for a ski season as access close.

New to the world of campervaning and wanted to test my new toy. Picked linnhe Lochside holidays as not many places open at this time of year. It was a great trip, staff really friendly, facilities very good and an excellent view close to the water. I loved it and will definitely be back in the warmer weather if not before.

This was our first visit to Scotland as a family who kayaks often, the site is on a wonderful loche that was amazing to do this on however there is very little on site, there is one small burger van and the quality was not great, the toilet/shower block was filthy and the showers were mostly all blocked. I did like that the campsite allowed fires.

First time camping in Scotland and the pictures of the views on the website didn’t disappoint Arrived on site to find the reception closed, however the email sent before gave directions on where to collect the site map and tag We asked for a pitch next to the Loch and was surprised to be give the option to pitch anywhere We opted for The Narrows and this was next to the loch and the views were impressive Yes the beach was pebbles but that helped with the dog The toilet/shower block was what we expected on a camp site. Relatively clean and plenty of hot water We didn’t get to try Woodys cabin for food as it was rarely open although the board gives timings. We only saw it open two out of the seven days we stayed Take plenty of mozzi repellent if you camp next to the loch as they had a feast Couldn’t find fault with the site and would recommend it to family and friends who wanted a peaceful holiday with tranquil settings

The view is amazing and that's about it for positives. The caravan was dirty when we arrived, crumbs on sofas, dog hairs all over sofas, urine around toilet, windows dirty. When you are paying over £1000 for a caravan you expect it to be clean and it was not....the pipes from the park leak sewage direct on to the loch shore, the caravan has very little outside space (no veranda etc) and inside the layout was not great (this was the platinum top of the range caravan). Sadly correspondence with the owners/managers highlighted that they believe they are great and don't need to do anything. My advice would be not to stay here as it's nowhere near good enough for the money and the view of the loch is not worth the lack of care and expense. There are much better options out there and this place needs to take a hard look at itself. Some of the staff I am sure are working very hard, such as the nice chap in the pick up who delivered us a hoover to clean with, and Woody's burger shed got good reviews from the boys, but the management does not appear to understand what management is, and looking at some of the recent reviews on this site I am not alone in my view of this place. Save your money.

The toilet block was disgusting and was a big disappointment, not even a mop and bucket to clean up after you have finished or soap in the dispensers. Amazing views from some of the pitches but we just looked onto the back of some very dirty caravans. Very quiet and we did manage to chill in our motorhome as used our own facilities. Needs a few pennies spent to tidy/clean up. Never saw a warden and each time we went to reception it was closed. Far better sites for £42 a night.

The campsite has the potential to be exceptional but the toilet block seriously lets it down! Not cleaned at all the 5 days we were here! No soap in the dispensers. Absolutely stank. If this is luxury then who knows! We complained when reception was actually manned and advised they were cleaned daily but never did they look or smell like it! Views spectacular but that’s about all it has going for it!

We stayed here in July paid £860 for 3 nights a family of 8. It was the most unpleasant stay. We lasted 2 nights not 3. When we arrived there was a used razor in our bathroom which my 2 year old picked up thankfully he is unharmed. All the plates glasses and cups were dirty and had to be put in the dishwasher. The sofa bed which we needed had no mattress only a topper which left 2 of us sleeping on sofas. Will not be going back and would not recommend a stay here. Over priced for what you get and not clean.
