Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Stayed here with my husband for my birthday and I cannot fault anything , the staff were fantastic it was a beautiful suite ,loved the sea view and chilled champagne on arrival . The hotel has a private path down to the sea front :) the breakfast was lovely and again we had a view of the sea while eating . They dont do evening meals but give great suggestions for alternative, you can even have something delivered to your room ( or delivered to their lounge with a great fire ), the honesty bar is a great idea and though we didn't use it this time it felt nice to have that freedom and trust.. we will definately be back again thanks so much to the team enjoy your off season !

Such a lovely, comfortable place to stay in a stunning location above Nairn beach. The people working here are exceptionally friendly and efficient. Rooms cosy and well furnished. Good breakfast, Huge car park. Easy walking distance to several good restaurants, and very central to the town as a whole. We would definitely stay here again,

Loved our stay at this wonderful hotel and the location is just perfect! Very friendly and helpful staff, plus an outstanding breakfast, and a warm welcoming bar too. I also left behind my fleece and they posted it to me free of charge as part of their service. I’ve already recommended this hotel to my family and friends and will continue to do so.

Hotel is an older style hotel that is well located to both the town Centre and the beach. It has beautiful facilities both inside and out. The rooms are well equipped and are spacious . We were located on the first floor and had a fabulous view of the ocean. Breakfast was great and plenty of variety. There is a great sitting room and bar which is very welcoming. Grounds are very pretty with easy access to the beach.

We enjoyed a wonderful couple of nights here. Greeted with a warm welcome, help with our bags and shown to our beautiful room. Amazing views to the beach and beyond. There’s a great little private path down to the beach too. Nairn is an easy stroll along the seafront. The bar is in a lovely room with cosy seating around a roaring fire. This place has it all. Breakfast is good and plentiful. The hospitality and the service at The Invernairne is simply tip top. A big thank you to Les and Sue (and the tall chap who greeted us upon arrival - so sorry that we didn’t ask for your name!) for making our stay so comfortable and relaxing. We would not hesitate to recommend The Invernairne and will certainly be booking again in the future.

Our entire stay was first class, the room was spotless as were all the public areas. Breakfast was amazing and all you could wish for! The staff Les, Sue and the owner Ryan, were absolutely brilliant, helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The honesty bar was well stocked and easy to use. Our bed was huge and very comfortable. If you need somewhere to stay you really cannot go wrong staying here.

Loved the small hotel!! The couple that managed the hotel were fabulous! Our room was perfect. Very clean. Delicious breakfast available. A cozy pub is part of the amenities. Location is terrific! There's a small gazebo outside if you would like to sit and read. There's beach access to a lovely seaside promenade that just goes on for miles. Also, it's only a 10 minute walk to local restaurants. Very close to Nairn and Castle Stuart golf clubs. Thank you for a lovely stay!!!

This boutique hotel is on the coast with stunning views. The staff is attentive and friendly. Our room had everything we needed and was comfortable. We had wonderful conversations with Les and Sue who run the establishment. We will definitely return and highly recommend staying if you plan to explore the Inverness area.
