Welcoming team at this gem of a hotel. We and our dog very much enjoyed our 5 nights here, good location, with excellent room facilities, hearty breakfasts, and access to the beach a short walk away via a pleasant green pathway past a field with Highland cattle. We also enjoyed the pub atmosphere in the hotel bar, where the meals were also delicious - and the beer too!
Within easy reach of Airport and also to visit places of interest all around the area, Culloden Battlefield, Loch Ness, and multiple walking/cycling routes.

First class location and service… welcomed on arrival with friendly greeting by owners and shown to rooms which were spotlessly clean and well appointed.

Onsite bar was very reasonably priced and food served there and in the breakfast room was hearty and very tasty.

100% recommended and will be back as part of my motorcycle touring company.

Excellent place to stay, massive room, clean, tidy comfortable. Friendly staff, couldn’t do enough for you, 1st class service. Ate in the restaurant and meal was very tasty, freshly prepared and good value for money. Topped off this morning with orange juice, freshly brewed coffee and a full Highland breakfast, very nice indeed. Would highly recommend this place for a stay.

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights we had a great stay. The room was lovely, very spacious and breakfast was delicious? We had Sunday Dinner on second day, I had the roast beef and wife had homemade lasagna, couldn’t fault it. We were made very welcome by the locals who had some stories to tell in the bar downstairs. We had a wonderful walk along the golf course/beachfront, views were spectacular. We highly recommend to stay here. Chris and his team do a great job, very friendly and welcoming.

We spent a night in Westerlea Hotel last week with another couple and it was all we had hoped for. The rooms were spacious and clean and the bathrooms spotless. Although it was really cold outside the hotel was warm. The Breakfast menu had a good range of items and the owner really welcoming and helpful.

Very few bars to have a drink in whilst in Nairn on a Wednesday mid afternoon. Found the Westerlea Hotel with a cosy bar and excellent bar person who had a lot of banter, which we enjoyed. Would return based on the hospitality of the bar person and the look of the bar food (which we didn’t have due to having a meal booked in our hotel). Expect a bar atmosphore.

Room 5 was spacious, with a very comfortable bed (and an extra bed). En-suite had shower over bath. Plenty of parking. Walkable (or cyclable) from here to town centre shops, beach etc. Staff were friendly and helpful. Towels were plentiful and changed frequently.
The en-suite bathroom was a little dated, but everything worked.

I have stayed at the Westerlea on several occasions and our recent visit again did not disappoint. Chris and his staff made us extremely welcome as usual and catered for our every need. The breakfasts are excellent can recommend the quality of food served on the bar menu. The rooms are clean and comfortable and contain everything you need for your stay.
The hotel is ideally located for all the amenities in the area.
As a party of golfers we have already booked for 2023 and would have no hesitation in recommending the Westerlea to anyone.

Attenative and caring Staff, spacious, spotlessly clean and quiet rooms. Good quality bedding gives a luxurious feel. Breakfast of Champions, you certainly won't need to eat until late afternoon after eating the Full Highland! Lovely beer garden great for kids as the grounds are private and secluded. Ample private parking and location is great only 5min walk into Town Centre. Would highly recommend 5⭐

Great to be back for Sunday lunch. We received a lovely welcome back as the last time we were there was for a pre Christmas lunch. We had haggis fritters to start with the I had roast beef and my friend had macaroni . Unfortunately we were too full for the sticky toffee pudding . There is always next time. Can highly recommend Sunday lunches here. Good value for money and a good choice of menu. Unfortunately I was driving so unable to have a drink in the marquee but next time should be able to have wine with our meal. Look forward to next time

I would guess not. It was not brought up. They were particular about wearing our golf shoes etc on premises.
