Just back from a wonderful 4 days in Narin at this trully outstanding B&B .From first arriving to be met by David the host I knew my husband and I were going to have a wonderful stay .Our room No 2 at the front was even better than the pictures spotless massive super comfy and every possible luxury needed ..And with everything shops, restaurants and the Beach a 10 min walk and only 3 minutes from the station ( as we travelled by train ) we were happy to have left the car at home we did not miss it at all .
Also with a great choice of eateries all within walking distance.Although would recommended booking ahead for certain ones as they are very busy this time of year ...We visited the Classroom, The Auroua Italian, Royal Bengal Indian (don't be fooled by the takeaway entrance ) the Restaurant is at the other side and serves trully delishous food .
Rowena David chief executive ( in his own words ) makes the most amazing breakfast her scrambled eggs are the best I've tasted and the Porridge and fresh fruit set us up for the day . We both loved the massive shared table and getting to talk to the other guests .
David has stories a plenty..Loved hearing about all the house history and his travels.
Would 100% recommend Tali Ayer and we most certainly would book again next visit to Nairn .

We stayed at the Tali-Ayer in July for 8 nights on out holiday to Nairn. It is a beautiful B&B with lovely clean rooms and all the amenities you require. David and Rowena are lovely hosts and make you feel very welcome. Rowena's breakfast's are delicious and you will never leave the table hungry! It is located very close to the train station in Nairn and is also a short walk to many lovely restaurants, the harbour and the beach in Nairn. I would highly recommend staying here on your visit.

The rooms are well appointed with a lovely ambiance. Lots of space to make yourself at home. The breakfast was great and the hosts very kind and welcoming folks. Nothing was a problem. Only wish we could have stayed longer

Quaint little place with a lovely family who hosted us. The hotel is right next to the train station so that’s really a bonus. We were served some of the best freshly cooked breakfast. We used Nairn as the base to visit all the nearby distilleries and castles.

Lovely old house and welcoming fire as we entered the hallway. The room was lovely with high spec shower room. Unfortunately the water was only lukewarm in the shower. The owners were very friendly and helpful but would prefer to eat my breakfast in peace and whilst it is hot.....instead we were constantly interrupted by the owner.

A lovely B&B but my partner and I were put off returning by the overpowering owner....a real shame...maybe a case of trying a little too hard!

My wife and I stayed in room 1 for three nights. The room was outstanding, very nice comfortable king bed with a good size bathroom. Dave and his wife were very nice and breakfast was delicious. You ordered your breakfast the night before by choosing your selection on laminated breakfast menu. Place was very clean. Definitely a nice place to stay in Nairn close to restaurants and a 15 minute walk to the waterfront. Highly recommend.

My husband & I were on a 20 day trip through Ireland & Scotland. We didn't have an itinerary, just an idea of what we wanted to see & the general direction we wanted to go. We were at Culloden late in the day & went on Tripadvisor to see what was available on our way to Stirling. That's when we found this gem! We booked online & were on our way. David & Rowena were so gracious even though they just got our booking minutes before we arrived at their door. They gave us great suggestions concerning where to eat dinner. The room was lovely & immaculate. The bathroom, well I can only say that I've never stayed anywhere that had such a high quality bathroom. Everything is first class, the home & hosts included. We ended up staying a second night & had the pleasure of having two delicious breakfasts. I'm sorry we had to leave but hope to return again. Thank you David & Rowena for a wonderful place to stay.

We stayed at Tali Ayer the first 3 nights of our Scotland trip back in August. The B&B was as we heard only opened in spring. The rooms are just beautiful, very nicely made with a combination of new and modern facilities and still keeping the touch of the old house. Rowena and her husband have been looking after us very well. A great breakfast, cooked to your order, was served in the morning and they always had time for a little chat and some advice what to do and where to go! Tali Ayer is nicely located in the center of Nairn, just minutes away from some good restaurants, the beach walk and the great Nairn golf links course. The house is in a quiet location surrounded by a beautiful park. We can really recommend this place further!

stayed here for a couple of days and although the weather was cold and wet we had a very enjoyable stay at Tali Ayer. The room was first class; comfortable bed, very good shower and clean. Will definitely stay again.
