The park grounds are well kept and it’s a nice location next to the river, but beware the elderly lady who runs it on site. She is the most obnoxious, rude, unpleasant character we have ever had the misfortune of meeting. Her attitude is either monosyllabic or full blown screaming at you for no reason. There are no facilities open due to Covid but most camp sites tell you this on booking. The toilets and laundry are closed but there is no signage and Mrs Miserable doesn’t like being asked to clarify - in spite of the fact that they don’t tell you on booking. The chemical disposal area is filthy and unsanitary. What a pity this place with potential is absolutely ruined by this woman.

We stayed for two nights in September - a last minute booking following a move from another site which was awful. The Riverside site is great and in a fabulous location . Facilities are fine and it is very reasonably priced.

Travelled from Inverness to try out our new folding camper. When we arrived a woman appeared, after a quick glance stated 'sorry we don't accept those' then disappeared inside again! Nowhere in the website does it say that they do not accept folding campers or trailer tents! Luckily we were able to double back a few miles and go to the lovely campsite at Alves.

Cannot understand the bad reviews here! We stayed here for one night in our motorhome and found it to be a charming place. We received a warm welcome from Christine who couldn't have been more helpful. Even beforehand any emails I sent when we booked were answered quickly. The park itself was beautifully kept, very peaceful with a lovely stream running past. Touring pitches were well spaced with loads of room. Facilities were spotless too, clearly well looked after.

phoned today to book a tent pitch for myself. was told ...no camping as we have a problem with the site !!!! . I had looked at the bad reviews dated from 2015 regarding camping or the lack of it . It's obvious to me that tents are not welcome . the web site clearly states ...Tents....how is this caravan site allowed to get away with not only a web site with tent prices and a sign at the end of the road clearly showing a tent !
