we secured a short break stay at this location at very reasonable rates and were delighted when checking in to find ourselves upgraded to a suite with views overlooking the river Tay. An extremely comfortable room, as was the whole hotel. Numerous areas to sit and relax in the hotel and it just have very nice feel to it. Breakfasts'...

The free parking is limited, so arrive early to avoid disappointment. The staff are helpful and very friendly. The place is spotless and comfortable, although the rooms are basic if spacious. The building is quite old, but it feels warm and comparatively modern. The decor is ageing but far from worn.

I did not stay at the hotel as I live in Perth. However, I can highly recommend the excellent food, very good quality. The staff are very attentive and the view is to die for, overlooking the River Tay. Well worth a visit.

We stayed here as a last minute deal. Check in was easy and girl friendly, room we were allocated was a suite, huge clean and bed comfortable. The hotel has a fitness suite which we did not get a chance to use but when we return we would. Hotel great location for shops, theatre and walks. There is a light...

We were recommended, earlier in the day, to come here for Sunday High Tea, so thought we would give it a try. As it was an unplanned visit we just turned up in the hope that we would be able to be accommodated without a reservation. Our luck was in, had we been half an hour later we would have...

Spent an overnight at the Royal George Hotel. Had an amazing High Tea on evening of arrival and the most beautiful breakfast the following morning. Such fantastic value for money. A very enjoyable stay with friendly helpful staff.

Stayed on a Saturday night as a getaway with a friend. Arrived early afternoon and got parked conveniently in the hotel car park - although spaces are limited so you may need to park on street nearby. Immediately checked in to a beautiful room with a huge bed and lovely bathroom. This is an old hotel so there's no lift...

Fast and easy checking in and out. The hotel is an old building so stairs and floors creak a lot as you walk on them. Single bedroom big enough for a short stay, clean bed linen and towels and a comfortable bed. Good choice of breakfasts, I had the full Scottish, a big portion with fresh juices and coffee. Very...
