Lovely, quiet place to chill out. Beautiful location with restaurants around if you don't want to cook. Wifi available, although slow better than you get in other lodges I've visited. Very clean & tidy. New Year was lovely, with the owners letting off fireworks which were beautiful.

We opted for a two bed lodge, consisting one twin and one double room. As usual a very warm welcome from John and Mary. We have been coming here for over twenty years. Great area to stay with easy access to Perth and surrounding areas, easy to visit friends and family in Fife and Tillicoultry . Play area for children...

I have just returned from a great weekend break with friends. This is the fourth time I have visited these lodges and each time has been excellent. We receive a warm welcome from Mary and nothing is too much trouble. Lodges are very spacious and very well equipped. Enjoyed a relaxing time will definitely return. 😀

This place was stunning. Although I never met Mary, talked to John most mornings as I was sitting on the veranda reading the paper. I just loved my visits from the hens and the roosters every morning. John actually brought us 3 fresh free range eggs one morning. The weather here was a lot better than our week in Fort...

Turning a 2 week, working holiday into a relaxing time for my family and I. The wooden lodges and scenery are great. I would not hesitate returning to River Edge Lodges, and enjoy the benefits of not working next time

We stayed here over the Easter weekend, 4 adults and 2 kids. The pictures honestly don't do it any justice. We stayed in lodge 8 which overlooked the very well kept play area which the kids loved, even though it rained most of the time. The chickens and goats had my daughter smitten, and she loved nothing more than taking...

We stayed one night with two young children. The customer service was great. the accommodation well looked after, spotlessly clean. The garden with play slide and house kept the children happy, the goats and chicken added more interest. This was the perfect stop over for us. Beautiful peaceful place, run by lovely people. Thank you so much, we hope to...

Great chalet for a short break. Spotlessly clean. Very helpful and friendly owners. Left Easter eggs for the kids. Children had lots of safe outdoor space to play. Close to Perth and lots of walks in surrounding area. Enjoyed feeding the goats. Yes the WiFi was patchy, but it was free and I have paid for poorer WiFi service elsewhere....

We have been going there for nearly 20 years. They are always ready to help out at short notice. Very friendly, clean ,quite accommodation. An ideal base for to stay so you can travel around, either to Edinburgh, Fife or St Andrews. A nice safe area for children to play outside where you can keep an eye on them. All...
