Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A really pleasant stay in Pitlochry. Great quality accommodation in a good location within a short walk to the town centre. Made to feel very welcome by the owner. Breakfast was first class, would highly recommend.

Property's Favourite Review
We arrived in Pitlochry to the most horrendous weather. A month of rain in 2 days. A warm welcome awaited us and we were shown to a lovely warm lodge room, separate from the main house. Generous size. A large en suite with 2 sinks, toilet and large shower. Big bed which was comfortable. Small fridge in wardrobe. Tea/coffee/biscuits tray with kettle and coffee machine in room. Also a table and chairs. Very comfortable. Breakfast was the best I think I’ve ever had when staying somewhere. Quality ingredients used. Delicious full Scottish on one day and the most amazing large pancake with bacon, banana and maple syrup on the other. All food came fresh from kitchen, no do it yourself buffet. Waitresses regularly checked if you required more of any tea/coffee/juice or toast. Will definitely stay again and recommend.

This is the third time we have stayed at Craigmhor Lodge - why look for somewhere else in Pitlochry when Craigmhor Lodge is so good? The rooms are spacious, superbly equipped and extremely comfortable. All the staff we met were very friendly and their breakfast is excellent. I can't recommend Craigmhor Lodge highly enough and we are already planning our next visit.

We were only staying for one night but had a very nice room with a large comfortable bed (room 10) and a balcony complete with two chairs. The furnishings and decor throughout are of excellent quality and the owners and staff were very friendly and efficient. The only slight criticism would be that provision of information in the room on how to operate the bluetooth sound system would have been of benefit. There was an extensive breakfast choice which was delicious (and deserving of their recent award!). Only a 10 minute walk to the town where there is a good selection of restaurants. We would be very happy to return.

This is my favorite place to stay in Pitlochry. It’s fantastic value for money. The rooms are beautifully appointed, spacious and equipped with wonderful toiletries (which is not usual in any accommodation nowadays.). The breakfast is delicious, made even more special by the fabulous views over the mountains. Jane and Callum have really gone above and beyond. Coming back next year.

This was our third stay at Craigmhor Lodge and it didn’t disappoint. We stayed in the Master Suite and it was absolutely lovely. A very generous sized room, tastefully decorated and extremely comfortable, with french doors opening onto our own balcony. Spacious bathroom with a great shower and separate bath tub. Breakfast each morning was cooked to order and delicious. The views from the breakfast room windows are beautiful. Thank you for your hospitality and helping to make another memorable weekend for us in Pitlochry. We will return, for sure.
