Lovely accomodation in Pitlochry, but what really stood out were the details--homemade rhubarb confit for breakfast, perfectly poached eggs, willingness to serve breakfast early so we could leave for airport, amenities in the bathroom. Welcoming and flexible hostess.

Lovely B&B situated just off of Pitlochry's main street Tir Aluinn has a beautiful view over the countryside. Kathy and Dave are wonderful hosts, both are very friendly and welcoming, and were more than happy to offer any recommendations for somewhere to eat and tips for things to do in the area. I took a six day road trip through Scotland and discovered this B&B. Kathy, the host, was absolutely wonderful! Her breakfast was divine! As others have said, this B&B is a steal, compared to the quality and pricing of others in Pitlochry. Tir Aluinn has good parking is a ten minute walk to town. I really appreciate that I was...

Tir Aluinn is located near the top of the hill overlooking Pitlochry and gives a beautiful view down into the town. It's in a quiet neighborhood with a lovely large lawn. Our hosts were very friendly and pointed us in the direction of several good spots to eat and places to visit. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful!

It's quite a way up the hill so be aware if you can't manage &/or don't have a car. It's fine for the average guest and it's on a bus route. Drying facilities available for wet...

We were given a lovely welcome by Kathy and shown to our very large and comfortable room. After 7 days of walking it was great to have some room to spread out in. Our breakfast was delicious and plentiful and Kathy is a very gracious host and exceptionally helpful. Thanks Kathy Keith and Joanne

Tir Aluinn is such a nice B&B. The owners are very friendly and helpful. My room was spotlessly clean, cosy and comfortable. The surroundings are very quiet and the walk down to the reaturants and shops takes less than ten minutes. The breakfast was superb, with a rich choice of cereals, fresh fruits, homemade jams and a full scottish breakfast...
