My husband and I wanted somewhere special to go for our Sapphire (45th) wedding anniversary. It didn't quite live up to our expectations but a lovely place to stay if you want peace and quiet and a place to unwind. The breakfasts were lovely and cooked to order which is so much nicer than the buffet style breakfasts in larger...

This is a lovely old house set in gardens, just a few minutes walk from the centre of Ptlochry. Beautiful decor inside, in keeping with the age and style of the house. There are 12 rooms, of which 3 are single. The rooms are very well decorated, with everything matching, and a very modern en-suite. The rooms have heaters, which...

We had the most fabulous break in this lovely hotel. The owners were very friendly and the service was excellent. The rooms are of a very high standard in terms of fabric and cleanliness. However, the real treat was the food, on a par with anything experienced previously. Anyone considering Pitlochry should look at this hotel. Walter & Isabelle

We booked a late deal for 2 nights at this hotel but we loved it so much, we stayed an extra night! John and Viv run this beautiful place and you are made to feel so welcome from the minute you arrive. We had booked an executive room and we weren't disappointed. The room was huge with a large en...

First time in this hotel and it was so nice to walk in and everything was tidy and clean and welcoming. A very warm welcome. Lovely room, felt like home. Actually it reminded me of my grandmother's B&B, very comfortable. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. My mum had poached eggs, which she said were perfect. Lovely strong...

Small hotel located in a quiet location. It possessed an air of a comfortable villa in its own gardens with good quality internal fittings. My room had a smart bathroom and look. Evening meals may be available.

This is a lovely hotel - full of character and charm. We received a warm welcome on our arrival, and our rooms were comfortable. One minor niggle is that the bed in our room could do with a more comfortable mattress. Breakfast was delicious! We would like to have stayed longer than our schedule permitted, and would definitely stay there...

My friends and I stayed the weekend. The room I stayed in was very dated, although clean. The bathroom had been recently renovated, although the bedroom looked like it had not been modernised since the late 80's. The highlight of the hotel is the breakfast, which definitely helped us for our long walk.

Despite visiting Scotland for the past 30 years this was our first visit to Pitlochry and our stay in this hotel proved a good choice. A warm welcome by the owners who were happy to help. All the facilities were of a high standard and we could not fault either the service or the food. A neat touch was making...

Really good standard of accommodation and quality breakfast. Myself and a group of friends have stayed at this hotel, while salmon fishing the River Tummel, for the last 3 years. It has single, twin and double rooms and is within walking distance of the town centre and local attractions.
