This was our second visit to Dunmurray Lodge, and plan to return next year. The accommodation is immaculate, with Lorraine ensuring your every need is catered for, and breakfast menu would rival a five star hotel. For cyclist enthusiasts, Mike has ensured excellent facilities for safe storage and maintenance. We also enjoyed the amazing views from the garden, with seating thoughtfully placed to enjoy the sun (and read a book!) all day. For those who enjoy walking, Pitlochry offers numerous picturesque walks, with coffee shops and eating places in abundance.

What a lovely experience it was to stay with Mike and Lorraine at Dunmurray Lodge. They are charming and delightful and do everything possible to make a stay there memorable. A few uphill steps from town center, it is convenient to restaurants and shops while still maintaining the calm, quiet feeling of being in a lovely Victorian neighborhood.. It IS an old home with small rooms, but it is comfortable, impeccably clean and beautifully decorated. Breakfast is cooked to order and delicious. I stayed there with my two adult children and we all agree that it was one of our favorite experiences in Scotland. Highly recommend it!

Had the best weekend at Dunmurray Lodge. Lorraine is such a wonderful, kind and caring host. Beautiful accommodation, immaculately presented and gives a feeling of comfort and peace. Delicious breakfasts and plenty to keep you going for a while! A truly Scottish setting, lovely views over the local hills, and although close to all amenities, it’s off the main road in a quiet and peaceful area. I couldn’t recommend Dunmurray enough for a wonderfully relaxing and well looked after break, amazing. Thankyou 🙏🏻

Excellent stay. Made to feel very welcome and our room was spotless. Breakfast was the best. Would highly recommend staying here. You won't be disappointed. Thank you for making my mums birthday weekend extra special. It makes all the difference having somewhere nice to go back to after a lovely evening at the enchanted forest.

We stayed here this weekend for the enchanted forest and honestly can not fault it, it is immaculate, Mike is super friendly while Lorraine was on holiday, we felt very welcomed by him. The breakfast was delicious each day, with tea and coffee. We did find the room a little compact, however this was our own doing for booking a smaller room. It was a lovely stay and it's in an excellent location. Can not recommend enough

We had a couple of nights stay here in their Stewart room. This gorgeous house is situated just a few hundred yards from the centre of Pitlochry, so very convenient for visiting this lovely town. Parking is at a premium in Pitlochry so having somewhere with off-road parking is a must. We found parking here quite easy, but it may be a bit tight if 4 cars were staying. Lovely welcome and hospitality throughout from Lorraine and her husband. She gave us a map of the town on arrival and pointed out plenty of places to check out. Our room was at the back of the house, and they have a lovely garden and summerhouse to overlook (see pic). The room itself was quite compact, but the lovely airy decor didn’t make it feel so. Decent sized cupboard for our clothes, a large desk/dressing table with tea and coffee making facilities, plus an armchair. The bathroom occupied a corner of the room with good sized shower and heated radiator to warm your towels. Not much room for toiletries though. It was nice and quiet being at the back of the house and the bed was very comfy for a good night’s sleep. Breakfast was in a room downstairs. The fruit salads and muesli/fruit/yoghurt starters were lovely and so were the good sized cooked breakfasts. A most lovely stay here.

Breakfasts were delicious and a good selection to choose from. A short walk into town made it the perfect location . Highly recommend it and would certainly go back again.

A most enjoyable two night break. I do not have to repeat what has been said before - it is all true. If you are convinced and and decide to book, then just access the owner's website and book from there.
