Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

After a very enjoyable weekend at the Faskally Caravan Park last year, we booked in again for accommodation for the Enchanted Forest. We were delighted to see last year's high standards were maintained. A well equipped, comfortable caravan, a lovely site with lots to do for children, including an indoor swimming pool. We had a meal in the restaurant which had a fairly limited menu. However, prices were reasonable, and the portions were large. Our party of eight thoroughly enjoyed our meals and service was quick and friendly. We are already planning a visit again next October. Recommended

Used the site at Easter and again in August. Have only managed to eat in the bar once (staffing issues mean its not open all the time). Showers clean, site is clean, wee shop on site, pool too. The real gem is the area, easy access to the river by the site and all very pretty.

An excellent site well run and maintained. We opted for the quieter part of the site which was so relaxing. The toilet and shower blocks are spotless and again very well cleaned and maintained. Overall a very well run site situated in the beautiful Scottish countryside 10 out 10 from me and my family, and we are already planning our next visit.

We have just enjoyed a very pleasurable stay at Faskally Caravan site. The caravan site is set in a beautiful area with stunning views of the rolling Perthshire countryside. The facilities offered are excellent, the shower block we used was exceptionally clean, modern, an abundance of hot water with hair drying facilities. We enjoyed a lovely meal in the bar/restaurant on-site one evening. In our many years of visiting this site we have been impressed by how well the site is run and the staff are very friendly and helpful with plenty of local knowledge of the area and the amenities the town and countryside offer. As avid walkers the caravan site is well situated, there is a woodland path giving you direct access to lovely walks along the river Garry, a favourite of ours is a walk up Faskally Glen which winds its way up to a lovely woodside cafe perched at the top of Killiecrankie where you can enjoy homemade soup and delicious patisserie cakes, your four legged friends are welcomed there too. From the caravan site in the opposition direction a riverside walk will lead you to Pitlochry, a beautiful small town with an abundance of lovely cafes, restaurants and gift shops. We enjoy cycling and the caravan site is ideally located on route 7. We ourselves are experienced caravaners, well used to exploring sites both here in uk and on the continent and we love to return to the lovely Faskally caravan site and its beautiful surroundings.

Booked here for 3 nights and was told to leave after 2 because we were still up talking with family members that I hadn't seen for some time after 12pm in my touring caravan and the pitch that was given to us was on a very wet and muddy hill and when told too leave had a ignorant young lad come over very abrupt and horrible little s@#& so remember people lights out at 12 or you will be moved on

Dear Andrew, We've had thousands of guests staying with us this year and your group are the first we have had to ask to leave. Your neighbours asked you to be quiet then had to call us. We were at you until 3.00am and still received some back-chat. It's disappointing having to throw groups off but hopefully it sends the right message to decent caravanners. Regards, Ian

Just had a lovely few days away at Faskally. As always the staff were friendly, the pool was great and the food was really good in the restaurant. We stayed in a caravan (Castleton) which was clean and had plenty of room for 4 of us.

Another fantastic stay at Faskally Caravan Park, this year we went for a caravan (last year chalet) and picked the Lochwood 2023 which was located along from shop and across from play area and ideal for our 8yr old son who spent his day mostly outside playing with other kids in the safety of the park. Caravan was spotless as only a year old and had all the needs our family needed. Site is well maintained by Ian and his brother and the on site team. Site shop is well stocked and not overpriced. Swimming pool which we used daily was fantastic and never overly busy. River is 5min walk and popular paddle boarders from site and great for Riverside walks. Been coming to this site since I was under 10 (still remember chip van at bottom of hill) and now 40+yrs later it's still as much fun staying there. Look forward to returning in 2024. Thanks Ian and team Ronnie

Just back from a 3 night stay. We rented a lovely 2 bedroom static which was spotless and extremely modern. Caravan Park very clean and everyone very friendly. Shop was great and I thought reasonably priced. We enjoyed time at the water, paddle boarding, fishing and kids liked the onsite park. Pitlochry 2 miles away and a lovely place to visit. My only negatives are, the WiFi was non extant. It stated when I booked WiFi included, however when in caravan there was no WiFi which was disappointing when caravan advertised with WiFi. Also for the money we paid I would have expected swimming to be included which it's not and children 12 and over are classed as adults. It is a lovely caravan park and static caravans are very modern but a little expensive (may just be time of year) when no WiFi or swimming are included.

Dear Shelleyd84, Thank you for posting your review. I'm glad you had a lovely time with us. We have upgraded our WIFI system and it is available around the park and in the bar and restaurant. The static caravans are so well insulated that we sometimes struggle to get the signal to penertate. It's something we are endeavoring to remedy. We charge £4 for adults and £2.50 for under 12's for 1.5 hours. The reason 12 and over's are charged full price is that they are allowed to use the hot tube, steamroom and sauna. We would love to see you back with us soon. Regards, Ian

Hired a Lockwood static here for 1 week. Spotless caravan - staff accommodating and pleasantly helpful. Excellent position for touring. Well stocked and sensibly priced shop. Great atmosphere and facilities on this site. A holiday park as it should be … others take note. Will be back at some future date.

Just back from a three night stay at Faskally and would like to highlight how great our stay was. All the facilities are spotless including the swimming pool area. We used the pool a couple of times during our stay and thoroughly enjoyed it. We were in the touring area at the bottom and grandkids loved the play area and small football pitch at the back. Short walk to the river which was nice but kids didn’t go in as it was heavy rain. We certainly hope to be back soon.
