Beautiful BnB. The rooms were very comfortable and charming. Pauline was a wonderful host and was very helpful in providing recommendations for what to see in the area. We had a lovely time staying here!
Beautiful spacious room and en suite every detail thought of and more, wonderful hosts and Pauline's breakfast was amazing, thank you so much for a wonderful stay in your beautiful home we will be back
First trip of 2022 and it was really good to be back. Beautiful house in a great location. Food and service are first class. Not many people can make you feel as welcome or be as helpful as Pauline. We will certainly be back.
This B & B is highly recommended. Pauline is very helpful, and is happy to help guests find things to see/do in the area. Her breakfasts were delicious. The room was excellent, and well-kept. The little touches sealed the deal, making us feel at home at the same time as feeling pampered. Hope to see you again, Pauline.
This Bed & Breakfast is in a fantastic location, easy access to the town centre and facilities. Pauline is very knowledgeable about the local area and beyond. We very much enjoyed Pitlochry and surroundings areas. The room we stayed in was very comfortable and the views from the window are lovely, the extra touches were great fully received too. The breakfast menu choices are plentiful and the food that was served was first class, Can't beat a good Scottish Breakfast. We arrived as guests and definitely left as friends and will certainly be back for another stay. Oh can't forget Peppie she loves to play ball.
I couldn’t recommend Northlands Bed and Breakfast more. This BnB is exceptional value for money. A beautiful family home full of history and converted into plush, stylish, and wonderfully comfortable rooms for guests, Northlands provides an experience and comfort that I haven’t received at some 5-star hotels. Pauline, the owner, is an absolute gem and incredible cook. She makes you feel like you’re at home while simultaneously pampering you throughout your stay. Not only is the BnB lovely and cozy, but there are little touches everywhere that Pauline adds to make you feel special and welcome. The included breakfast is astonishingly good! The location is perfect for both the centre of town as well as the surrounding beauty of Perthshire and Pauline is very helpful in recommendations. We cannot wait to get back here - truly one of the most magical stays we’ve had and we can’t thank Northlands and Pauline enough! ✨…
We stayed for 3 nights. The room was beautiful, spotlessly clean with a huge bathroom and everything has been thought of even down to a wee dram as a nightcap. Pauline could not have been more helpful and friendly and the breakfast was amazing, local produce and home made goods were all delicious. I have food allergies and Pauline went out of her way to provide me with additional food and even some suitable snacks for the train, most considerate. All in all, a wonderful experience, would definitely return and recommend to anyone.
I stayed at Northlands for three nights on the way to a family gathering. Pauline Duncan was an excellent host - welcoming, friendly, very concerned that I had everything I wanted. The family dog, Peppy, also made me feel very welcome. The room was lovely with a beautiful outlook. Breakfast was excellent. I would unreservedly recommend Northlands.
We've stayed here for the Enchated Forest the past couple of years and really missed our visit last year, with the lockdowns. Although the event was sadly cancelled again this year, we decided to stay for that weekend anyway and it was such a pleasure to be back. From start to finish, nothing is too much trouble and you feel almost like family rather than paying guests. Room 1 (Atholl) is fantastic, beautifully furnished and with lots of space. Sitting in the bay window you get a lovely view across to the hills, and the deep claw-foot bath is a luxurious treat. There are lots of small touches in the room which add to the feeling of being spoilt, including a decanter of whisky and little sweet treats. The breakfasts would be worth the trip alone. There is so much choice, the majority of it local, and so plentiful that it keeps you going until dinner! We were even thoughtfully given the pastries/muffins we hadn't been able to manage (in neat little bags) to take with us on our walk the first day! We came away, as always, feeling thoroughly relaxed and looking forward to our visit next year. Highly recommended.…
We return to award-winning Northlands in PItlochry because owner Pauline looks after guests so brilliantly in such a beautiful and peaceful location. A warm welcome and attention to detail, super comfortable and spotlessly clean rooms with lots of lovely personal touches for guests. The breakfasts are a real highlight, with an amazing selection of home-made and home-cooked items, and Pauline champions local produce. Northlands is so centrally located that you can leave the car if you want to do walks from the house, and Pauline can recommend lots to do, from sightseeing to shopping, farmers markets, places to eat, walks and more. Highly recommended.
