We stayed at the weekend in a room in the annex. The hotel has a lovely setting. We were going out for dinner which was prebooked though the menu in the hotel looked very good for evening meal. Our double room was a very good size and similar to a Premier in as there was not a wardrobe or drawers... More

There were six of us. We needed a family room plus three single rooms. Everyone was pleased with the accommodation. We fixed up directly by telephone with the hotel reception - how nice is that, for a change!? The hotel rates for B&B were excellent and simply could not have been bettered. The dining room service and food, as well... More

We ended up in this hotel as we had booked the theatre at fairly short notice and Pitlochry was incredibly booked up. However, we were very pleased with the Dundarach especially as we were given a free upgrade to a four poster suite room with stunning views and an enormous bathroom. We enjoyed our two nights there very much. Breakfast... More

We had an overnight stay here on our visit to The Enchanted Forest and had a lovely time. The rooms were clean and spacious and the staff were all really friendly. My only small issue was that we stayed in the annex adjacent to the hotel, which does not have wifi coverage, which did not impress my kids. Other than... More

We stayed at the Dundarach Hotel for one night while we visited the Enchanted Forest show. Hotel manages to match traditional highland hotel with modern rooms. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Excellent buffet breakfast with everything you could hope for, enough to keep the kids happy as well.

The Dundarroch Hotel is perfectly placed for access to the annual event of the Enchanted Forest and to take the opportunity to see a play at the Pitlochry Festival Theatre. Only 5 or 10 minutes walk from the centre of town and an easy 5 minutes drive to the theatre. I've spent a night or two here for several years... More

The staff went above and beyond for us..... the lovely waiter went to ask if we could have haggis which wasn't on the menu and we found we could..... the bar staff and owner even humoured my sister who showed them how to make an Irish coffee (their own effort tasted pretty good anyway!) It was little things like this... More

We recently stayed at the dundarach hotel while visiting the enchanted Forrest. I mistakenly booked this hotel for the wrong dates and when I phoned up to cancel I was fully expecting the hotel the charge me for the family room I had booked but to my surprise they were so helpful and changed our dates although they didn't have... Fabulous old hotel. It's not boutique or modern but it's warm with lots of character and, in the right room, there are great views over the valley. Breakfast was 2nd to none and filled us up for the day's adventures. The staff were welcoming and helpful and chatted plenty over our visit. Pitlochry is a beautiful town and a perfect... More

This is exactly what I fantasized as the first place I'd like to stay in Scotland... A great stone pile, which another reviewer described as very "Agatha Christie." I find the perfect descriptive. A grand place that's been around for a while – maybe a little "fusty, " but so be it! That said, our ground-floor room, in one of... More
