Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Wonderful weekend escape to Pitlochry. The B&B was lovely. The room was large, warm and had everything we wanted. I slept really well in the big bed. The breakfast was delicious. The famous Whisky porridge did not disappoint. All the staff were so friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be back. Thank you so much xxx

Brilliant from start to finish. We stayed in room 10, it was much bigger than it looked on the website and it was a lovely modern room, nice chairs and comfy bed. Location was good, only a 10 minute walk into town. Plenty of parking. Breakfast is in the main building and it was fantastic.. We had read about the whisky porridge and it didn't disappoint. John was a great host. The lounge is open till 10pm and if you wanr want to bring in food you can eat in the this area. You might even see Donald the Pheasant around the grounds

Amazing from start to finish. We stayed for 2 nights in room 16 and it was spacious, clean, warm and the bed was huge and super comfy. Easy walk into town too. The staff were so friendly and the breakfast was delicious! Plenty space to park the car too!

This our second visit to this hotel and enjoyed our stay immensely. You are assured of a warm and friendly welcome from John and his staff and they are a mine of information regarding the best places to eat and drink in Pitlochry. The accommodation is spotlessly clean and comfortable, with tea and coffee making facilities in the room. The hotel is situated in beautiful surroundings even though it is only about a 5 minute walk into the main street of Pitlochry. The breakfast is of good quality and adequately proportioned with a buffet also available. My wife particularly enjoyed the whiskey porridge which she had the last time we stayed so had to have it again, and it was just as good this time. Will definitely stay again.

Warm welcome on arrival. Large twin room with large comfortable beds & pillows. Good selection of teas with coffee, bottled water & sweet treats. Good size bathroom, quality toiletries & thick towels. Everywhere is spotlessly clean & all staff are friendly, helpful & efficient. Excellent breakfast with hot and cold selection available. Cereal, fruit, yogurt & juice from the buffet with hot food prepared to order. Car park close to main building & courtyard rooms. Short walk to centre of Pitlochry. Our stay here was perfect.

Lovely hotel, excellent choice for breakfast and a warm welcome from John. Perfect setting as only a 5min walk into town but is far enough back from the main road that it is peaceful. Large room which was spotlessly clean, very well maintained and very warm. Will be our first choice when we return to Pitlochry.
