We called in without a booking and decided to eat. Even though they were really busy they fitted us in. The food was great and the service was fantastic. Lots of staff who were all very helpful and efficient. Very impressed and would definitely eat there again.

Property's Favourite Review
On arrival the room was ready and spotlessly clean. We were shown to our room and everything explained to us. It was a beautiful room and large luxurious bathroom. Our room overlooked a waterfall which was stunning. The staff were warm and welcoming and couldn't do enough for you. We had breakfast on both days and also had dinner on both nights. Food was exceptional as were the staff. The system they had in place for table service drinks worked a treat and we waited only a few minutes for our drinks to arrive, even though it was a very busy beer garden. Would definitely recommend and will be back.

A lovely b&b inn/ hotel in the heart of Pitlochry. Cleanliness is excellent and the rooms are a good size. Overall great atmosphere and the staff are very friendly. Food was good in the restaurant but as the inn is very popular it can be busy. Price is comparable with the area. We were in room 8 which is above the bar and can be a little noisy until closing. Will hopefully stay again

Probably the one pub / restaurant that you’d want to visit more than once. Staff very friendly, location lovely with outdoor seating. Food is excellent and well presented although a bit on the pricey side. Nevertheless not much more than anywhere else in Pitlochry. Would definitely recommend.

As always lovely staff, room and service. We get one of the deluxe rooms as they are very spacious and nicely decorated. We have never been cold in the winter visits (underfloor heating in the bathroom too) and never too hot during summer visits. The location is perfect and we will be coming back here as long as we are able. Great breakfast though if you can believe it there was TOO MUCH smoked salmon and I couldn't finish it - beat that! As a chronic back pain sufferer I can also say that the beds are comfortable which is rare for me.

Rooms, food, very pleasant and helpful staff all excellent but disappointed we could not get a seat in the bar area after an early evening meal as some tables were "reserved". In a public bar? - doesn't seem right

Dear heilanman, I am glad that on the whole you had a great stay although I am sorry that you had issues with seating. We only allow our residents to reserve tables for their evening meals and I'm assuming you vacated your table after your early meal. A simple word with our team and we would have done our best to hold a table aside for you later in the evening although on very busy evenings/ live music it's not always achievable which is why most of our residents tend to dine later and stay on for the evening/music. I am sorry this spoiled your stay slightly but hopefully not enough to stop you coming back again in the future. Best wishes, Team Old Mill Inn

My hubby and I stayed here for one night on Good Friday. This hotel is bang smack in the middle of Pitlochry, making it a fab location to explore the area. Our room was so much bigger than we’d expected, it was clean, well maintained and we had a very comfortable nights sleep - the hotel was so much quieter than we’d anticipated considering it has such a busy bar and is so centrally located. We had dinner and breakfast and both meals were lovely. The main gem in this hotel are the staff - every single member of staff we spoke to were helpful, polite and doing an amazing job. The hotel was heaving with visitors on a busy holiday weekend and staff were super busy, efficient and all with a smile - a rare commodity! We will definitely return here and would recommend.

We stayed in a deluxe room for a midweek stay. The room and bathroom was very well appointed and so comfortable. It was a light airy room with plenty of windows. The bed was very comfortable , plenty pillows and nice cushions for a finishing touch. Bathrobes and lovely toiletries added a spa touch to the bathroom. The breakfast and dinner were excellent. First class ingredients ,all cooked to order, with a good selection of dishes on offer. Friendly helpful staff in all departments. Our stay was fantastic and we look forward to returning for another lovely visit.
