My husband and I recently stayed a night at The Old Mill Inn and had dinner and breakfast there. I simply cannot make any negative comment about our stay and it’s now on our list of top hotels to return to in the future. We had a deluxe room that was very spacious and clean which included a bath and also separate walk in shower which was a nice touch as normally it’s one or the other. What makes this place so fantastic however are the staff. They were all so friendly and accommodating and customer service was second to none. To top it all the food was absolutely delicious, well presented and we didn’t have to wait long. There is a spacious outside seating area some of which is covered so even on a rainy day you can still enjoy outdoors. This was our first time staying here and won’t be our last. Thank you to all the staff who showed how hospitality should be done. Well done! …

Another fabulous stay. Amazing staff, lovely comfortable rooms and great food. We love the area and this hotel is a perfect place to stay. It has a great atmosphere and we absolutely loved the breakfast. Everyone made us feel very much at home.

A great hotel with a lovely warm welcome, staff are so friendly and helpful. Room was lovely, very warm, and bed was very comfy. Modern bathroom with great shower. Dinner and breakfast was lovely, hot and plenty of it. Had drinks in the bar which were all very nice, comfy high backed armchairs made for a lovely relaxing evening. Honestly cannot recommend The Old Mill Inn highly enough.

Wonderful place to stay, very clean property, comfortable and warm bedroom/bathroom. Excellent team of staff , friendly and welcoming even when on Saturday night it was extremely busy, it did not distract from the excellent customer service. Thank you for making our few days away so special, best place we have stayed in long time and look forward to returning. Good choice of meals on breakfast and main evening meal.

We have just enjoyed our second visit to your beautiful hotel.. I can only repeat what previous reviewers have said. Your staff without exception have the highest customer service skills you could ask for. From my first contact with Nikki on the phone when she was such a help with my booking to all other members of your team that we encountered .Our room was lovely stylish. and very comfortable . The breakfast and dinner just perfect. I cannot think of anywhere else that we have stayed that has provided customer service like this. Whether you are coming to stay or just for a meal and a drink this is the place to make your first choice. The bedrooms are very comfortable and spotlessly clean, the restaurant food and drinks choice is excellent - the haddock was the best I’ve had for a long, long time. What makes The Old Mill Inn the crème de la crème are the staff. From the owners to reception staff to bar, restaurant and those who looked after our rooms, all were extremely polite and courteous. If you are under 75 or young at heart this is the place to be. If you are over 75 …… well…. They’re are a few other hotels I’m sure you’ll find to be ok. If you’ve already booked elsewhere pop in here for a beer or a meal and see for yourself. Well done everyone. T, J and E

Recently stayed here with our kids..I was very impressed with how polite and efficient all the staff were..Really nice bar area with a relaxed feel to it..The room was really nice and with a bit of class..The restaurant area has an open kitchen so you can see the chefs cooking,they were very professional and the food was brilliant..Couldn’t fault this place would definitely go back..I haven’t done it justice but I’m a fussy bugger who never leave’s reviews if that helps..
