Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We had an awesome time staying at Craigroyston Guest House. Greg and Sue are fantastic hosts. The venue is cosy and upmarket. The guest house is close to amenities and attractions in the town, yet quiet and private. Lovely views of Pitlochry. Looking forward to returning soon.

This bed and breakfast is one of the best that we have stayed in. The room was beautiful, bed was comfy, shower was great and the whole house was immaculate with a hearty breakfast that sets you up for the day with a great selection of both hot and cold choices. To top it all off, by far the best thing about our trip was our hosts Greg and Sue this lovely couple could not do enough for us to ensure our stay was fantastic. We will definitely be back.

Awesome B&B. We had a wonderful 2 night stay at Craigroyston House. The rooms are super clean, quiet, bathrooms upgraded, and very comfortable bed. We are light breakfast eaters but the continental breakfast had more than enough options. The views from our room and terrace were stunning and it was so convenient to the charming High Street of Pitlochry for shopping and dinner. Available parking was perfect --- leave the car and explore the town. Friendly hosts. We hope we will be able to stay here again on another Scotish Adventure.

This excellent HOME (it feels very much like HOME) along the warmth and welcoming friendliness of Vaughn has large comfortable bedrooms and updated baths along with parking. Craigroyston House is a quaint, updated Victorian country house. Their terraced lawn is a fabulous place to sit with a glass of wine. Their location is ideal for strolling into town without having to take your car. We highly recommend CRAIGROYSTON HOUSE. Anne and Billy Allen, Amelia Island, Florida.

This was a quick one-night stay for us on the way from Inverness back to Edinburgh. Pitlochry itself is a wonderful place to check out. Easy walking and numerous restaurants. Blair Athol distillery can be walked to, a reasonably lengthy walk but not bad. House is lovely, certainly. Rooms nicely sized and comfortable. Breakfast with multiple choices was delicious. Would absolutely recommend the town and this house as a great stop.

Beautiful house and grounds very quiet considering just a few minutes walk from the centre of Pitlochry. Easy walk from train station. Susan and Vaughan were very welcoming even when they were rushing to the hospital for the birth of their grandchild. Took time to explain where everything was. Our room and en suite was faultless. So warm and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent made even more so by the home made natural yoghurt, marmalade and raspberry jam. My husband said the poach eggs were fantastic.

Excellent choice for a cozy house in a very quiet location, yet just steps away from the main street with many shops and restaurants. The owners Vaughn and Susan are very welcoming and helpful. Comfortable bed and an excellent full breakfast is included. Definitely would stay again.

Best B and B we have stayed at in Scotland and we have stayed at lots of them. We stayed for 4 nights in the house, room 3. The room is huge with a large bay window and stunning views. A very short walk to everything on the high street. Pitlochry is well worth visiting in between Edinburgh and Inverness. Vaughan is a superb host and nothing was any trouble at all. Very quiet at night so easy to sleep. Parking at the front door. I thoroughly recommend this B and B.

We stayed at Craigroyston House 2 years ago and decided to stay again as we enjoyed it so much last time and we were just as happy on this second visit. We had booked two rooms and our travelling companions were also very pleased with their stay. Sue and Vaughan gave us a lovely welcome and were really friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The room was very comfortable and clean and the breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choice. We would have no hesitation in staying again if we go to Pitlochry and would definitely recommend it to everyone else.
