Part of the extensive small buseness estate at the airport forms motel style accommodation,often used by flight or aviation maintenance students.As well as convenience for the airport,the surroundings are pleasant and interesting,with woodland walks and Scone palace nearby.The simple rooms are large and clean ,with good beds and futniture.The windows will open,and the curtains are effective. It is very quiet at night,and generally a most comfortable place to stay. The only on site catering is the new airport cafe,which opens for breakfast, but only at 0900.Good cooked lunches are available,but closing is at 1500.The” breakfast” included in the room rate is a paper bag containing something sweet.

Rooms are very comfortable and clean. Loads of hot water, tea and coffee making facilities plus a nice welcome pack including biscuits! We stayed with 2 dogs and my son and the room was spacious enough for us all. Quiet enough that my dogs weren’t barking every five minutes and outdoors lit well enough to take the dogs out for the bedtime toilet walk easily. Area around the accommodation was clean and well kept, plenty of parking near the door too. Staff are lovely and very helpful. The location is easy to find and a great place to stay and explore the local area and beyond. Great value for money.

Clean, welcoming, excellent value for money but most importantly…….dog friendly!!!! Even welcome in the breakfast room. Staff were very helpful, went above and beyond to meet our needs as we were traveling with a young man with special needs.

First impressions aren’t great. Check in is in a portacabin and the rooms are motel like buildings that look like ex RAF serviceman blocks. However this is all very deceptive. Check in lady was very friendly and welcoming and our large double room was very clean, comfortable and very quiet. In addition to the large double bed there was a nice seating area with two comfortable chairs and a table, plus the usual complimentary teas and coffees. Breakfast was a simple cereal, toast fruit, yoghurt and croissant affair but more than adequate. All in all a great stay for a good price. Would definitely use again.

Very clean, comfortable, and quiet. Great selection for continental breakfast included in the very reasonable price. My friend and I stayed here while attending an event near Perth and had an early start on Sunday morning, but breakfast started at 6.30, so we had plenty of time to grab a bite before leaving at 8.

I was slightly anxious about staying here as it is definitely a budget option. However we were very pleasantly surprised.
The staff at the check in were pleasant and professional.
The room was very good - large, with TV, two chairs and plenty of room.
The bathroom was absolutely fine. It was clean, with a very powerful shower. There were no toiletries and the towels were not big but everything worked and worked well.
The breakfast was a limited buffet - but there was something for everyone and enough of everything.
There was parking on site but - outside the blocks but there were a lot of blocks so we had to search for a space - but it was fine. There was a security guy on duty all night.
I liked staying here - it was better than a B&B - I like the anonymity of a motel rather than staying in someone's house.
If you just want somewhere to lay your head - staying here is a very good value option.

I have stayed here a few times but it has been a while. This is an excellent stopping off point for travellers or even if you want to tour in the area. The rooms are comfortable and the beds especially so. There is a good selection for your self service breakfast .we were there for 5 nights and it was much less expensive than staying in the centre of Perth. You do need your own transport though. There is plenty of parking space. I lost my power bank and it was found by the cleaner and handed in. I am very impressed that they sent it on to me. Excellent service all round and very pleasant, helpful staff. I don’t intend leaving it so long before zi return.

Still good value. Have stayed here quite a few times over the years, but first visit for a year or so. Rooms are still nice and comfortable, room has tea&coffee, kettle , tv, hairdryer and private bathroom. Comfy bed and chairs. Lovely and clean.it may be out of town a bit but still offers good value for money. Simple breakfast (cereals, toast, croissant etc ) included in price.

Check in was a portacabin. Staff very pleasant. First impression not great. Refuse bins overflowing and rubbish on path to our building. Bed linen clean however the carpet was disgusting. Doors banging with people coming and going. Noise from adjoining room quite loud as walls thin. Decided not to stay and handed keys back.

I Liked The friendly hospitable host. He made me want to revisit, so I will book again. He was very helpful and I loved it there. Loved the room size, the location etc. This accommodation is exceptional value for money.
There is a lovely cafe nearby called TOUCHDOWN CAFE. They serve delicious food which is fairly priced.
This accommodation is situated literally 100 yards from Perth airport. You can watch small commercial aircraft take off.
I really loved the peace and relaxed atmosphere of Sky Lodge. I give the host a 10/10 for hospitality & a 9/10 for the accomodation. If we were looking at value for money, I give it a 10/10

Taxi, you would probably be best to pre-book. We are on the 57 bus route to Perth, but you would have to go into Perth to get a bus back out to the event. Local taxi number, Fair City Taxi 01738 560280
