We booked this last minute for one night. The hotel is situated in a quiet area, in the nice part of town. Having read the other reviews for this hotel i must either assume the guests were paid a lot of money to write such positive comments or the owners wrote the reviews themselves. The whole building smelt really bad of smoke and something else, but i have no idea what. We spent a very uncomfortable night, being bitten by what we can now confirm were fleas. The garden area is cluttered with junk/old shower panels. Do not be taken in by the photos taken by the owners. (See below) . There was no phone signal or wifi that worked. Believe me had we not been so tired we would have walked down the road to call a taxi to get us out of this what i can only describe as the hotel from hell. Stay well clear and stay somewhere else would be my advice!!!

I picked this LITTLE BB because of the reviews on here and on booking.com and I was not disappointed. The owner was lovely and we were able to check in at 12pm as we were going to see Pink prior to flying out. As an added bonus the owners said that we could park our car there while we were away at no extra cost. The room was small but tidy and clean. We were also given slippers and dressing gown which I thought was a lovely idea. Unfortunately the rooms were not ensuite which I didn't realise but not a big deal. The bathroom was also very clean and tidy. Complimentary toothbrush, toothpaste, razors and deodorant was available also. Don't know about you but its always the small things that makes a difference to your stay. There is a station about a 10min walk that takes you straight into Glasgow City centre. Gilmore St. There is also a bus service from here that drops you off outside the airport terminal which is ideal of you are flying out the next day. The only downside to our stay was that upon arrival there was no way we could alert the owners of our arrival. The gates are locked and there is no bell. I tried to phone the owners but no answer. We had to stand about for 10mins until we were spotted from the window. It was the same in our return to collect the car. Someone happened to come to their car for something and we asked them to open the gate. Think it would be a good idea to get Bell so you are aware of guest arrivals. However I would stay here again if flying out as very good location.

I am a coach driver with 27 years experience. During which time I have stayed in 100s if not 1000s of houses , bnb and hotels. I have found the broadstone house to be comfortable. Welcoming. Wifi in every room free . New beds Family run . The family are lovely could not be more welcoming. Bathroom has razors , Tooth brushes and paste . Just incase you forget . Very well laid out. I have also stayed here many times . This receives 2 big thumbs up from me .

I was travelling with my mother with Alzheimer’s, her partner with mobility issues, and my 14 year old stepdaughter. We arranged uplift from airport, then to be taken to Paisley Gilmour station in morning. The owners are serious about commitment to you - his whole family including his brother and visiting niece all helped with the luggage on arrival. I’d told him about our horrendous time with Flybe, so he gave us a bottle of Prosseco and offered to take us to a local pub for our evening meal, and also to pick us up. He did this because he could see my mum’s partner was not able to walk far. The back garden is perfect if travelling with kids. There’s a kitchen you can cook your own meals in plus cereals, bread, milk, eggs, fruit juice, jams etc all there for your breakfast. The 2 rooms we were allocated had everything for comfort - my mum & partner took the ensuite, and my stepdaughter and I had a family room with 2 bathroom/showers next to it. We had dressing gowns, slippers, toilet equipped with body sprays, toothpaste, shower gels, cotton buds, mouthwash, etc. Biscuits and tea and coffee were in the room but you could help yourself to more biscuits from the kitchen. Water cooler in hall. Extremely comfy beds. I’ve lost the note of their names, but it might have been Ann & George? They deserve to do well - their work ethic is wonderful and we felt really looked after. Thank you so much Broadstone house - I will be seeing you again.
