We spent an evening in January in between flights and loved how charming the place looked. The room was humungous, very well decorated, with high ceilings, sufficient windows and well heated. The private bathroom was clean and had hot water. The breakfast was delicious. The woman who welcomed us was very nice and knowledgeable of the area. The hotel is...

After a long journey and just before my morning flight I decided to stay for an overnight, I arrived at this hotel around 8pm just to be told that they "had to" give my room to someone else because my credit card didn't go through. Being a 65 year old woman travelling alone you can certainly understand my shock and...

I booked on booking.com and the hotel was cheap, I travel often on business and always use booking.com. I usually go to big chains or country house style hotels but booked here on this occasion as it was only a couple of miles from the airport. It was easy enough to find and there was ample parking in a newly...

We checked out thirty minutes after checking in! On arrival we could see that the hotel was undergoing some major external work, laying a new tarmac parking area and sandblasting the external walls. The appearance of the flaking paint on the weather worn window frames did not encourage, but nevertheless we decided to check in. When the receptionist eventually appeared...
