Luxury , style, gentility and panache. Gorgeous room, entertaining host, Absolutely tip top breakfast. They will even pick you up from the ferry. This is an oasis of indulgence and casual chic. I want to live here like one of those grand dames who retires to a cruise ship.

The perfect place to relax and feel pampered. Richard will make you feel very welcome at Adoran House. We were invited to join Richard for a glass of wine in the evening and we found Richard to be a wonderful host with amusing anecdotes and also very informative about Iona. This is a very spacious place and the attention to...

Following a mix up over ferry timetables we arrived on Iona in a very dreach state. Thankfully our host (the delightful Richard) offered us the use of the tumble dryer. The room was delightful, the facilities excellent and we especially appreciated Richard's "be quiet seagulls" dance, allowing us a lie in on the Sunday. Reminiscing about the Herb Garden whilst...

Our visit to this magical island, last weekend, was all too short. We were very fortunate to stay in this absolutely beautiful and peaceful haven. Thank you, Richard, for your kindness, care, yummy tea and scones and equally yummy breakfasts. We had the added pleasure of enjoying good wine and conversation with both you and your guest from Santa Barbara....

We arrived early evening on Iona on a rather wet Friday - the rain was coming down heavy as we got off the ferry! Thankfully, we were rescued from the deluge by Ailidh (John & Ailidh are the generous and lovely owners of Ardoran House who provided transport to our first dining experience at Martyr's Bay Restaurant .. super service...

Having loved two previous visits to Ardoran House and the restfulness of the Isle of Iona as a solo guest, I was over the moon to be returning with my husband - a surprise trip booked by him for our wedding anniversary. I have raved about the kind and thoughtful touches by Richard who runs Ardoran and also about the...

We had such a lovely time here that nowhere else on our trip could match up to. Richard has an amazing attention to detail, Ardoran House is beautifully furnished and lots of personal touches make it feel so special. Richard is a fabulous host, and manages to create a real camaraderie between the guests with the 6 o'clock glass of...
