Just returned from a wonderful break on the beautiful island of Iona. Skerryvore B & B played a huge part in this experience. Joyce and Lindsay were perfect hosts and could not have been kinder or more helpful. Very comfortable accommodation ideally situated. The days started with a beautifully cooked breakfast and having our own cooking facilities in the guest kitchen was a real bonus. We will certainly be returning in the future. Thank you for your hospitality Joyce and Lindsay.

What a gem this place is. We had our own little apartment and felt so at home here. The view from our window was spectacular and the walk to the beach and dunes just gorgeous. We were served food lovely food in our apartment by the most charming host. Wish I could stay here for weeks.

Fabulous hosts, super clean, great facilities, amazing breakfast - you feel really, genuinely welcome. Views to make your heart sing - highly recommended. Looking forward to visiting again. The B&B is included and you have access to full kitchen facilities for lunch and dinner - self catering - dish washer too... There is another room across the shared area. Book early to avoid disappointment - Lindsay and Joyce are so helpful and kind

This review is for Lindsay of Skerryvore B&B on Iona Island for his excellent Iona Taxi service guiding and touring us for two days on the Isle of Mull. My friend Pat and I had two wonderful full days spent with Lindsay as he toured us around the Isle of Mull. It was the easiest and best way for us to do a total circle tour of Mull on their single track roads. Lindsay and I worked together to plan the route and stops and he was totally open to stopping anywhere along the route to share information about the area. One day was a little wet but our spirits weren't dampened and the rain made for lush overflowing waterfalls all over the island. If you follow the photos you'll be able to follow our trail. Lindsay was courteous and knowledgeable with lots of local history and a lovely sense of humour....a very interesting person. Naturally his driving was tops. Whether you're staying at Skerryvore B&B which I know would be excellent or whether you need transportation to see the local sites on Mull, nobody would be better suited to help you than Lindsay.

Lindsay and Joyce are excellent, friendly hosts. Their property is absolutely spotless and ideally located for those who enjoy peace and quiet. The communal lounge and kitchen is a great resource, as is their bookable, taxi service. I’ll definitely be returning.

Visited twice in 2019, the second time because I enjoyed my first visit so much! Rooms are spaceous and both rooms have comfy beds, the sofa in the twin room was handy too. Good breakfasts, handy guest kitchen, and friendly hosts. The B&B is about a 15-20 minute walk from the Village / main hub of Iona, which I loved. As a result, you look out onto the golf course and Camas Cuil an t-Saimh - great for bird watching too! Saw a good range of species from the bedroom alone! Joyce and Lindsay were lovely and accommodating - e.g. let me run a moth trap in the evenings to survey the moths (all released unharmed of course)

Skerryvore was the perfect place from which to explore and experience the rare environs of Iona. The rooms and the common area were well designed and well appointed, and the view of the ocean from the sitting room was outstanding. Being situated so close to the Machair shore made fascinating walks, morning or afternoon, as easy as heading out the door. As well, having a kitchen available for guests to use created wonderful flexibility for meals. Joyce and Lindsay were gracious and helpful in every way, from providing directions for various personal hikes, to suggesting reading materials, to serving ample breakfasts and even packing an on-the-go breakfast for my last travel day. I highly recommend Skerryvore, and plan to return.

Skerryvore Inn has an expansive view of the spectacular Iona coastline. We relaxed near the big windows watching a storm develop, blow over, and then break into sunshine. Our hosts, Lindsay and Joyce, were helpful and knowledgeable in every way, even providing assistance when one in our group had a medical concern.

Everything at Skerryvore was as expected and very clean.Bedroom was spacious with comfortable beds, beautiful views and good ensuite shower room. Television for watching in the room if not out exploring the island. Lounge and dining area bright with wonderful views over the Machair shore from the large windows, with a telescope to seal watch, or just wait for the lovely sunsets. Breakfasts very varied choice served by our great hosts.Kitchen area very useful for evening meals. We`ll be back!

Had a very enjoyable 3 night stay here. The en-suite rooms were large and spotlessly clean. The beds were comfortable. The breakfasts were cooked well and had plenty of choice. The views from the sitting room and bedrooms looked straight out to sea. A telescope and binoculars were provided too. The hosts were helpful and as the only taxi-service on the Island, were very helpful with transport. We were also left a treat of Florentines and tablet - thanks Joyce.
