As a family we stayed in Rose cottage for a weekend. The premises is very well situated and it is a short walk in to the town. We had a large family room which was comfortable and the ensuite bathroom was well kept. The breakfast had plenty of choice and even the teenagers had enough. I left my glasses after... More

I had occasion to stay at Rose Cottage for a number of weeks, and I can truly say it is a Home from Home, it was the most pleasant stay I have ever had any where, the attention to detail by Carmel the Host is just fantastic, her carefully prepared Breakfasts are sumptuous, and the Rooms have beautiful decor, the... This b & b is said to be 1 km from the town centre but in fact it only took us senior citizens 5 minutes to walk down a quiet road. One day we did the return journey 4 times with no effort. I have stayed in town centre locations that were further out! We thought on a noisy Saturday... More

Really nice B&B with beautiful bedrooms. It's not the most convenient location to stay in in Ennis but it is a quiet area ands there are pubs and a fast food restaurant just around the corner. I would stay here again

Missed breakfast as I had an early morning flight but the place was nice, clean and comfortable. Good location, was able to walk into town for dinner and a good place to stay before a flight out of Shannon. Wifi only worked in breakfast area. Also would recommend skipping the pub next store; much better options in town.

Stayed here for one night, was welcomed with open arms by lovely owners. Twin room was massive with two double beds, and cleanliness was ace. Breakfast was great. Very good value for money. I would deff stay here again :D

I cannot imagine what more anyone would want from a very affordable B&B in a good location. My room felt extremely comfortable and I never felt any lack of anything. It was decorated nicely, as a private home might be, instead of the typical bare bones look found in most Hostels. There was no pressure by the management about whether... More

I have stayed with Carmel and Frank Daniels several times. I find them to be more than great hosts. Staying with them is like staying with beloved family. The rooms are a bit small, by my American Standards, but very tidy , warm and comfortable. Carmel runs a fine house and kitchen, while Frank runs the attached Alymers Rest Bar,... More

This was the second time we stayed at the Rose Cottage and for the second time the service was first rate. We've been going to Ireland for quite awhile now and always visit Ennis after a couple of downers we discovered the Rose Cottage. The Rooms were clean and the Hostess was great; very helpful, pleasant and more than friendly.... More

Although conveniently located, this was the worst B & B we stayed at in Ireland - it barely rates OK. All in all a grubby and untidy place. The youngish couple with a baby who jostled to avoid the short straw to check us in were totally without charm. Their mother/mother-in-law was more civil, but cooked appalling scrambled eggs. Breakfast... More
