Maranatha B&B is a little off the main road but it was well worth the effort. My wife and I stayed for two nights and the location was great for visiting the Blarney area and for Cork, Cobh and Waterford. Olwen is a lovely host who made wonderful suggestions for restaurants and even laundry services in the area and she...

As others on Tripadvisor have stated, Maranatha Country House is not that easy to find, so make sure you aren't going to arrive after dark. Even with the GPS we missed the turn the first time. We had been warned by guests at another B&B the night before that it can be a challenge to find, and "don't stop at...

We stayed in 8 places while touring Ireland. This is a special B & B just outside Blarney. As you come up the drive you see this wondertful 1887 house and beautiful grounds but what is inside is truly great. Olwen and Doug are super hosts and we wish we could have stayed longer than two nights. All rooms are...

I booked this B/B on the recommendations of TA's reviews and they were not wrong! It is a beautiful house on a wonderful piece of property. My only regret was being able to spend only one night! Olwyn was very welcoming and breakfast was delicious and included a show by the resident foxes. My only recommendation is that if you...

We loved this beautiful home. Olwyen, Doug and all the guests were so pleasant. We were just minutes away from the Blarney Castle and Blaire Inn for dinner was outstanding. All the rooms were decorated perfectly, the grounds were lovely and I even have to give the dogs 5 stars as they were so poilite. I would stay here again!

When we came up the long driveway I thought we were in the wrong place - ordinary folks don't stay at a place like this! Lovely 1850's country house on well manicured grounds, well fitted out with period furnishings. Olwin our host deserves special mention, very warm and engaged and a great conversationalist. Our room (the rose room) was fantastic,...

My husband and I stayed at Marantha Country House during our recent visit to Blarney. We were warmly welcomed by Alwin, who showed us to the Lavendar Room and made dinner suggestions for us. The room was large, clean, and comfortable. The house is located outside Blarney, in a private setting off the main road. It is a lovely old...

This Country House is set in a beautiful location surrounded by woods. Blarney Castle is just 10 minutes away by car. For a night of luxury and a breakfast choice that would shame most restaurants this is the place to be. The owners were very friendly and gave good advice as to local eateries and attractions. The bedrooms are themed...

We were very impressed with the home and the hosts. Olwyen and Doug were very helpful and friendly. The house is fantasic, quite the place, especially if you are looking for something out of the ordinary and grand. Our room was very large and wonderfully appointed. The yard and flowers were fantasic. The breakfast was the best we had on...

This was the first place we stayed on our vacation. The welcome that Alwin and Doug gave us was phenomenal. The rooms were fantastic. If you travel to Blarney, make sure you stay at the Maranatha Country lodge, whatever you do!!
