This hotel is rated 4 star but i found it difficult parking my car in the property. In fairness, the banquet staff are all so friendly and warm and their service is superb. Plus the food is topnotch (I chose the sirloin steak with all the trimmings instead of the chicken).

Booked last minute, stayed for one night (Patricks Day Eve). We were meeting friends in Cork so this suited us best. Stayed in room 231. Room - Being last minute, on Patricks Day Eve, possibly one of their busiest times of year, I wasn't expecting the best room which was fine, as we wouldn't be spending much time in the...

We checked in for a 2 night stay, however we checked out before we got the chance to experience the 2nd night. We got there and it was a nice looking building, upon check in we were told the lifts were broken so we had to carry out luggage to our 2nd floor room. We are in Ireland for a...

Rhona has done it again! I know its a busy week, what with St Paddy's Day and the number of communion's and what not, and so while we requested the same room my Mom stayed in last time, I wasn't optimistic we would actually have the luck of getting it! After arriving in Dublin at 4:30am this morning and then...

A lovely looking building with plenty of parking although I suspect that when the hotel is full parking spaces may be at a premium. The staff are great, all of them I encountered are warm and friendly. I stayed in what looks like a newer section and although the room was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated it was a little...

I stayed for a week on business. Very nice hotel with lots of charm. The restaurant is very good. The staff was nice but don't ask them for a restaurant in the city. They are obligated to only promote the one on premise. I found the room set up spacious but there is no temp control. You are at the...

Just stayed two nights and this hotel cannot be faulted! I am very familiar with the city after numerous visits but this stay was more unique than the other modern hotels we stayed in. The hotel is old but that's the beauty of it and really added to our experience. The rooms themselves are very cosy, the food was delicious...

Stayed in this hotel for 4 nights as a long weekend. Booked in an executive double with a fantastic view over the city. Room wise we had a king bed which was very comfy and the room very spacious with high ceilings and a balcony. The bathroom was clean and the shower hot (after a couple of mins for it...

Was going to the theatre in Cork and stayed here. Front of hotel wouldn't have looked out of place in India. Has a colonial look to it. Found out it was a British military hospital at one time. Plenty of parking. Lovely welcome from the receptionist. Room was huge and what a view of Cork. Had dinner in hotel. Was...
