Loads of parking, warm staff and lovely big room with a view over the garden. Rooms not overly stylish or sterile, but clean, spacious and nice with a big bed. Bus stop right outside for quick shuttle into Cork centre (€2-3; taxi ~€8). Otherwise a 40 minute walk along the water. Breakfast was lovely and generous, the staff were great...

This was our first visit to Cork for the Jazz Festival. The Belvedere Lodge was warm and comfortable, and we had a very quiet spacious room at the back (Room 9) for three nights. The staff were always ready to help: on one occasion we could not get our kettle to work, and a friendly man attended straight away and...

My husband and I enjoyed our two nights at Belvedere Lodge! The room was large and comfortable, and the overall feel of the B&B was charming antique. Breakfast was delicious, with many options including full Irish. The building is very safe and cared for. If you are visiting Cork, know that you will either need to use public transportation or...

This luxury B&B at a very moderate price was a lovely place to stay; quiet despite being near a motorway, major thoroughfare and the docks. The staff went out of their way to insure every possible want or need was met if at all possible. As advertised our room was large and the breakfast was cooked to order. The parking...

Overall it was a wonderful experience. This B&B is a bit larger than the others we stayed in. At times if felt impersonal like a hotel. My only real issue was the location, as it's near noisy roadways with an industrial feel in the neighborhood. We were placed on the 3rd floor which could have been an issue had we...

Belvedere Lodge was right what we were looking for; a very good stay in a typical Irish lodge, with the perfect possibility to leave the car at the property's parking lot and going downtown Cork by using the public transportation (bus stop is right in front of the hotel, bus connection every 30 minutes). Very warm welcomed at our arrival,...

I have never been in bed and breakfast accommodation that was as bad as this. The description on the website is misleading, to say the least. Having booked a twin room, we were shown to a double room by the "receptionist". Following our complaint, a twin room was then provided which had two beds. The bedspreads had a plastic feel...

This place smelled greasy upon entry and wasn't clean. The bathroom had visible signs of filth and I wouldn't use the shower. I based my choice on previous evaluations and can't imagine why so many positive. Fortunately it was only a one night stay.

Located not far from Cork, in the middle of a busy street, it remains quiet and easily accessible. From the outside the house is beautiful and also inside is interesting. In our room we were a bit disappointed for a water stain over the bath and the temperature, colder than expected; everything else is good although it seems a bit...
