I have stayed here on many occasions and this stay was my poorest by far. I dined in the hotels restaurant and unfortunately the food was poor. The staff were very apologetic and did offer an alternative meal but the appetite wasn't there to start a new main. Now onto to the bedroom. It was spotlessly clean and very modern,...

By and large ......... Home like comfort, lovely location and great service! Great for business travellers. I travel to Cork often and have stayed in other hotels as well. Clayton (earlier Clarion) scores better than the rest. Only one thing - I wish they hire a few more people as I hate queuing up always at reception.

Check in easy. Central location. Rooms ok bathroom sparse. Thin walls lots of noise. Breakfast very poor. Full breakfast consisted eggs, bacon (cold), sausage only - no mushroom, tomato, fried bread etc. Had to ask for coffee, ask for cereal bowls, ask for plates. Tables cluttered and not cleared. Overwhelmingly hot dining room. Will try elsewhere next time

Its a very good hotel, with good service and excellent staff. The only drawback is that the breakfast was awful. one the first day the food was not even labeled. There is very limited choice for breakfast if you are a vegetarian.

The rooms were very clean, staff were very friendly and approachable. Breakfast buffet was very fresh and tasty. Good location for wandering around the city as well. Visiting Cork again, the choice is obvious. PS restaurant offers very tasty food even as a room service.

What a great hotel to stay in, from check in till we left it was easy and comfortable rooms, great bathroom, prompt lifts. I didn't get a chance to eat breakfast but a few friends said it was lovely. Also what a great location, within 2 min walk from everywhere in cork, bus station, Oliver plunked street!

stayed for one night, room was plenty big enough, air con was hard to regulate our room was very hotel on the 6th floor. Bar was busy but I thought it was expensive for drinks. Check in and out was speedy, the car park entrance is wide enough for one car and its a two way system, I had to...

We stayed here on Saturday night. The room was nice with a balcony looking out over the river but could have been a little cleaner! The staff in the residence bar where polite and attentive when we came back from our night out. They went out of their way to look after us! The next morning we had coffees and...

Hotel is OK. Not a cosy hotel. It is in need of updating and painting. Staff are lovely, siobhan was so helpful. Bed was comfy and in room coffee was fab. Location is excellent. Carport difficult to find. Overall hotel very clinical.
