Living and being from Cork you often overlook the tourist attractions that are right on your doorstep. We went here with some friends who visited and had an enjoyable experience. The stairs are quite narrow and winding as you get to the top of the bell tower. So be mindful of this. Probably not the best for the claustrophobic along...

Recently I've stayed in this b&b with my girlfriend. Room was cosy and very warm. Bed comfortable. Bathroom freshly done up, nice all round. Jacuzzi bath was amazing. The only thing i didn't like was a tight carpark and no access to the back of the house (garden) with no sitting area outside bedroom. Highly recommend for the price!

I really enjoyed the stay although I must admit that the reception area is awful. The receptionist were helpful but they were not welcoming at all. Not a single smile. First impression quite bad to be honest. The room was lovely, true that the heating was off and the water was very very hot, but not an issue for me....

Have just come bk from a long weekend here. Room quite poor towels not changed daily and bed not changed at all. Bathroom extremely pokey also when moving bed out on last day noticed the wall I was sleeping by was covered in mould pretty disgusting actually. Would go bk to Cork but definitely not stay here.

We stayed at this hotel last week and we really were very disappointed even angry at the limit of leaving in the middle of the night if we had not paid the room on arrival! No parking or just for 3 cars, it's convenient downtown! The receptionist is really not smiling and really gives the impression that we are disturbing...

On 23/10/16 we stayed at this B&B for two nights in room 11. It all started out so well, as the room was lovely, clean and comfortable upon entering. Unfortunately, our stay took a turn for the worse. The accommodation and experience was unsatisfactory in the following ways. On the evening of our arrival, I had a bath. During my...

Lovely place and nice staff. Impressed with the rooms etc. It's only a walk away from plenty of bars and restaurants. The staff let us stay after we checked out and use the dining area, offered us drinks etc

First off, on the website the place makes you think it is a vintage refurbished B&B but when we got inside it was very old, and needed a HUGE REFURBISHMENT. Noises all night long ... very small bathrooms. Horrible old beds. Couldnt sleep for the 2 weeks that we stayed there. Breakfast was not included despite it being a bed...

This is a truly lovely experience and a must if you are visiting Cork City. The fact that you can ring a tune on the bells of Shandon to be heard all over the city is unique. It's the best €5 I have ever spent. Don't miss the upper balcony and the inside of the church itself.

You won't get too many opportunities to ring church bells so a visit is worth it for that alone.. Lovely church and great views over Cork when you climb to the top. You have to climb through the bell chamber (with ear protection). Be warned that it's very tight.
