From all the previous reviews, we seemed to miss out on all the good points mentioned by previous reviewers. We were shown to the room by, I guess the son of the owners. He gave us the room which had a useless bay window which looks right onto the carpark and everyone coming into the house, no privacy with it.... More

A clean and comfortable room and friendly host. Breakfast was very average. We were asked if we liked eggs and bacon but had no choice in how they were cooked. A slight problem with the shower running hot and cold but it was only a short walk to town. All in all an OK stay.

My wife and I stayed at Milltown House and enjoyed the clean and modern room. The location is convenient as it was less than a 5 minute drive to Donegal town. The owners were very hospitable and our breakfast was excellent. We would definitely stay here again and recommend the place.

Nice and friendl host (i guess it was the husband). He said the normal double room is under construction so we had a tiny room upstairs (i guess it was supposed for one person only). The bed was horrible! I never want to sleep there again.. Breakfast was ok :-)

Berni, Jerry and family were fabulous people who welcomed us into their home and provided us all of the warm comforts of an Irish home stay. This included a comfortable bed, clean and tidy home, wonderful breakfasts and a personal tour on their sheep farm which included some other livestock. Despite being a busy household, they made time for us... More

We had a lovely stay here for one night. Our room was very comfortable and clean, the breakfast was fantastic, and most of all, Jerry and Bernie were really welcoming. We were travelling with our dog and were unable to find any pubs nearby that would allow her in while we had a meal, but Bernie was happy for us... More

The bed was so comfortable, the sheets so fresh, we could have stayed all day!! Jerry and his kids were so welcoming. Everything was new and clean. Such a cozy, luxuriously stay. Breakfast was made to order and fruit was fresh. I can not say enough about this b&b!!!

We had the front, first floor room. It was very, very small. And the big window made us feel like we were staying in a fish bowl! Plus the worst thing was the view - a big box store! Not what you would want for a country B&B in Ireland.

Located away from the town of Donegal, so you need to drive to a restaurant/pub. There is plenty of off road parking. The room we had was large with plenty of wardrobe space and a good size en-suite shower room. The room was very clean, but in need of updating. Tea/coffee making facilities were shared - in the large hallway... More
