Great friendly service at check in. Good warm room, quiet location. Good breakfast served on time and hot. Parking was easy, free and close to the hotel. Bar service was good and the pint was great. Lift not working but not an issue for me.

this hotel is located in the heart of the city, with the town square directly in front. it's a terrific base for the area, with a bus stop directly in front, taxis opposite, and an aldis within walking distance. the style of the hotel is old world and the rooms are very nice. only one power point, and no facility...

Visited this hotel on a 4 day National Holiday trip (16/01/2017). The hotel is very clean, well maintained and decorated and was heated throughout, it also has free WiFi. Lovely hotel with the best staff ever. Nice large room overlooking the square. Food was good everything well organised. Abbey guests can use the swimming pool next door. Great bar just round the corner with live music called the Reel Inn. Will most definetly return.
