Really lovely experience. Can barely fault this place, other than food in Cedars restaurant which is quite expensive and small portions. Breakfast was excellent, as was food in Oak Grill Bar. Service was especially good, all staff were friendly and helpful. Bedroom/Bathroom were lovely - clean and roomy. Location is great also. Would recommend this hotel.

We stayed for one night as part of our Royal Irish drive tour. I had called two months in advance to book some "extras" as it was our 25th anniversary. When we arrived the service was excellent. In our room was a chocolate mouse with a note wishing us a happy 25th.This was a very nice surprise. The hotel and...

We have just returned from a one night stay Pros Staff extremely friendly and helpful. This included all members of staff. Excellent bar food Very spacious bedroom If I was being negative I would have to comment on the heat of the bedroom. Very warm, despite constant adjusting of the thermostat. TV signal Was also poor in the bedroom. However...

I stayed in Lough Eske Spa this weekend for my second wedding. We had been looking forward to the break and particularly based on the good reviews we read online. Unfortunately we were very disappointed with the weekend for one reason - the food. The quality of food served to us over the weekend was simply unacceptable for a 5...

My wife and I stayed in the vice presidential suite at Lough Eske. What seemed to be a great room turned out to be a nightmare. The heat could not be regulated, requiring us to keep the windows in the bedroom and bathroom open. There was a wedding in the hotel and the bride and groom had the presidential suite....

This castle was booked to celebrate my daughter's birthday. This was our "extravagance" for our 17 day stay in Ireland. We booked two rooms and it was explained to them that the booking was for holding the rooms and we would pay separately upon departure. We stayed one night. Upon checkout, they billed both rooms to one account, rather than...

Had the most wonderful weekend there - despite the weather. The sun did come out but not a lot. Not that we minded, between the spa, the open fires, the Sunday newspapers etc etc. There were 5 of us, 2 couples & a single friend, whose birthday it was. The rooms were lovely, amongst the best we have ever seen,...
