Hotel 7 in Dublin garners high praise for its exceptional service, with a staff that guests find welcoming and attentive, enhancing their stay. The chic and stylish atmosphere of the hotel is frequently lauded, alongside its clean and well-maintained spaces. While the rooms are celebrated for their modern design, some guests note they can be on the smaller side with occasional noise issues. The location is a highlight, offering convenience to Dublin's attractions. However, the value perception is mixed; some visitors mention the pricey breakfast, despite the bar's reasonable rates.

My husband & I stayed here over valentines weekend . First impression of the hotel on entering it was a wow factor, amazingly clean you could smell the freshness & our room was just as good, everything you need including iron , iron board , hair dryer & the usual sundries including water, with a great wee fridge to keep cold .the decor was very impressive. The breakfast was amazing ordering freshly & continental on buffet including cereals , fruit , pastries, the staff at breakfast were so welcoming, nothing was a problem,on hand to explain & show us oldies how to work the coffee machine . Would highly recommend a stay at this hotel.

Prior to arrival date I had great communications with the hotel through email. As we were due to arrive in Dublin airport at 9am. Extremely helpful with 3 options to get to hotel. We chose to use the public bus, 2 euros 60 each, about 35 minutes journey. Bus 16 or 41 (payable in coins on the bus). Bus stop literally 2 mins from hotel. Hotel also allowed us to leave our luggage at reception whilst we went to explore straight away. Normal check in 3pm (hotel will see if they have rooms available earlier - for a fee).
Hotel room very comfortable. Double and a single bed. Lovely decorated, and very clean. Loads of towels, toiletries, hairdryer, tea/coffee making facilities, iron/board, fridge, water provided in room on first day.
We only had breakfast (book your time with reception) as only small intimate dining area. Fantastic choice, hot dishes as well as continental, fruit, pastries, cold meat, cheese, cereals etc. Staff all really pleasant and happy to assist.
Hotel is around 15/20 minutes easy walk of main attractions over the river. Once you get your bearings, most attractions are close to one another.
We bought the one day hop on hop off bus tickets (24 hours). 30 euros per adult payable on bus (cheaper to book online in advance). Bus stop 1 is outside the Gresham Hotel, about 5 minutes walk from Hotel 7. I would suggest actually staying on the bus and doing the round tour, for the full duration to start with, this will give you an idea of where some of the attractions are. The map they give you can be a little misleading. (pick up a better map at Hotel 7 reception).
I would highly recommend this hotel.

A lovely comfortable friendly hotel just minutes walk from O’ Connell Street and all the places of interest within Dublin. I requested an accessible room following a foot operation and it was great, roomy (I had a wheelchair) as the bathroom was safe and accessible. Would definitely stay here again.

Good things: clean, comfy bed, room was spacious enough for the two of us. The lobby space is very nice, calm, smells good, when you’re sat in the restaurant/bar it’s a very pleasant experience. They were very good at refreshing our room when we were out. Great location, everything is walking distance and there’s plenty of bus and tram stops nearby if needed. A couple of great brunch places nearby (we tried Koffee & Kale) and a great cocktail bar (Big Romance) just down the road too. Staff could not have been nicer, more welcoming or friendly which was appreciated.

Room for improvement: walls are very thin! In our third floor room we could hear slamming doors, tvs and voices from neighbouring rooms (at all hours). Only espresso cups in the room, had to keep going down the reception to ask for a teacup/mug to make a brew. Only whole milk in the mini bar. Room was quite hot. View was not good (though did appreciate having a big window which opened). Breakfast was very expensive (€17-19pp so we ate out instead.

Booked for a 4 night stay in March 2025, for my daughter and I. On the second night due to a medical condition, she wet the bed, she very rarely does this. That morning, I let the hotel reception know on our way out and asked very kindly if the bedding could be changed. I had even pulled the sheets off for them. However, upon returning the same wet sheets had been placed back on to the bed. Not wanting to sleep in urine, I went down to reception and explained again what had happened and questioned why they weren’t changed. They said “I don’t know…but there is no cleaning staff here now, you will have to wait till the morning” I said my daughter and I cannot sleep in a damp bed…. The receptionist just stared at me. I then asked if I could please have a clean duvet and sheets and I would be happy to make my own bed up. The receptionist said “I don’t think we have any, and I don’t know where they would be if we did”. I was shocked by his response and he then said, “I will see if I can find out” he then wrote down the words “duvet, blankets, towels” and said he would bring them up. 20 minutes later, a different person brought up two sheets and two towels and walked away. I did my best to cover the urine and make the bed sleepable for my daughter and I. The following morning we left the hook on the bedroom door that asked for “a more thorough clean”. Upon returning the wet mattress topper that I had removed from the bed and placed on the floor had been taken but no new one was placed on the bed. The same sheets remained on the bed and the same water proof sheet that I had strategically folded to try and avoid the urine whilst sleeping was still on the bed. They simply tucked in the sheets and the old duvet. So if you want a hotel where if you have a medical condition that may require you to have clean bedding. Don’t stay here, because you won’t get any….

The hotel staff welcomed us with great attention and helpfulness. We would especially like to mention the friendly employee Timeea, who always looked after our well-being and gave us lots of tips.
The plentiful and delicious breakfast (the buffet was confidently managed by the always attentive Mrs. Bijana) was just as enjoyable as the food in the restaurant, which was served to us by the friendly waiter Pedro.
The room unfortunately faced a rather uninviting side street. The room itself was very well maintained, however, the bathroom was small but tastefully decorated.

Hotel corresponding to 4 stars. Clean and equipped rooms. In the room there is, in addition to the kettle, also a Nespresso coffee machine with pods and bottles of water available. Parking is nearby and requires a fee: if you bring your ticket you get a discount. Very convenient for reaching various points of interest on foot. A little expensive.

The hotel is well placed in easy reach of all the sights. The staff are nice and very helpful. The hotel is clean and the rooms have nespresso machines and kettles with pods, teabags and coffee sachets. There is also a small fridge, an iron and ironing board and a hairdryer, so the rooms are pretty well equipped. The bathrooms are very good - ours was large with a walk in waterfall shower with Ritual shower gel and shampoo in large dispensers. The beds were very comfortable, we were at the back of the hotel and were able to open a window for fresh air. We were aware of a constant hum of generators just below our window but it didn’t disturb us. The room we had was compact and bijou with not a lot of room between the wall and the first bed and about 6 inches to the 2nd bed and about the same between the end of the bed and the console table facing. On a city break you don’t spend much time in the hotel, it just being a place to sleep so we felt it was a good choice and would probably book it again if we were to return. A taxi from the airport was €27 each way.

We stayed at the Hotel 7 for 3 nights end of August. From the moment we stepped through the door we were treated amazingly well. The staff could not be more welcoming or friendly. We stayed for drinks in the hotel the first night and the only shame was that they weren't able to serve drinks past 10:30pm and you have to spend €9 per person in order to have any alcohol which is really a shame. The rooms were modern and clean with the added bonus of a Nespresso machine and rainforest shower. Hotel is spotless, it's in a good location - just a 5 minute walk from Parnell Street and 15 mins from Temple Bar (depending how fast you walk). If you miss the hotel breakfast there is a lovely cafe round the corner called Lovinspoon and a busy bar called Murphys within 5 minutes of the hotel. All in all would highly recommend. Hotel is spotless, modern and fairly good location. Staff are outstanding.

We really enjoyed staying here. All staff were really lovely. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice, and we also ate an evening meal which was very tasty. In the hotel.

The room was very clean, but quite small, and the bathroom (or rather shower room) also very small and quite difficult to access because of the location of the toilet in front of the door opening. However the shower was very good. We stayed only 1 night so it didn’t really cause any issue for us.

The room rate, booked directly with the hotel, included the breakfast (either cooked or continental) and was extremely good value.

I would highly recommend the hotel and would stay there again when visiting Dublin.

We were two single girls there and would walk back to the hotel after some fun near Temple Bar at night. Never felt unsafe. It doesn't feel like the major touristy area (not a lot of people milling around) but it was fine.
