The welcoming on arrival to the hotel was wonderful. The Manager, the reception and the bar staff were all just so helpful and extremely friendly. This was one of several hotels suggested to us and I'm glad we chose it. As has been noted, it is right across the street from Christchurch, a little away from the busier area, right in the medieval part of the city, easy walking to all locales, and the airlink bus to the airport stops right around the corner. The...

The good: The location is perfect for touring Dublin; you're also near a bevy of shops, restaurants and bars. Also, Darkey Kelly's is superb, the food, the ambiance, the drinks are superb. The Bad: The bells. DO NOT stay there if you're jet lagged and need an afternoon nap.The church bells go off every 15 mins. Drove me crazy. I...

Tony was amazing from the beginning. Very gracious and kind. All the staff were helpful. Hotel location was perfect. We were overlooking the Christ church cathedral (yes, across the street not just overlooking). Quick walk to everything. Awesome! And the pub downstairs is the best!

Recently returned from a six night stay. Hotel is within walking distance of the Temple Bar area, close enough to the action, but just a bit outside the chaos that could ensue there. Stayed for a couple of nights and would definitely return. The staff at reception were particularly friendly and welcoming. The room was quite large with a comfortable double bed, air conditioning and an en-suite bathroom with a very large shower. There is a safe and a small fridge. A strong bonus is the attached Darkey Kelly's bar (see separate listing)...
