Out of city center, short bus ride to city center. Good eating in house and also within short walk. Walking distance to excellent botanical gardens. Don't try to drive in Dublin. Even the locals hate it. You can get a bus pass, and the bus...More

We really enjoyed our week at the Skylon Dublin. You’re close to the City Centre—about a 10 minute bus ride to O’Connell Street—yet removed enough to really unwind. Catch the bus directly across the street, and you’re dropped about 300 feet from the hotel entrance....More

Airlink does not pass the hotel - it goes via the motorway and the Port Tunnel. The No. 16 & 41 Dublin Bus routes serve the airport (both terminals) and stop really close to the Skylon & are very good value in comparison - but you need exact change. Aircoach also passes the hotel but you’d need to check where it stops to drop off & pick up.
