It was very frustrating that they operate a policy that you can only check in when it is 2pm regardless of when the room is ready as the reception team just stare at the clock at state the room is not available until 2pm despite housekeeping saying very loudly to the reception

Response from Luca C, Guest Relations Manager at Beresford Hotel
Responded 2 weeks ago
Dear Liyahlabellexo, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. As discussed on your numerous calls with our management team our toilet paper is purchased from a supplier who transports it to us on a truck from a warehouse which provides ample opportunity for dirt/dust to accidentally end up on the product itself. We cull these items and return to the supplier. The presence of feces on a brand-new roll of toilet paper is highly unlikely and I do apologise that our team missed the mark on the roll that was placed in your bathroom. Our team was more than happy to switch it out. You can see by our other reviews that our housekeeping team take great pride in their work every day. It is alarming to also hear of your dirty phone and broken radiator as these didn’t seem to come up during your conversations with any of the team during your consistent demands for compensation while refusing to allow anyone to communicate with you. There were many discrepancies during our conversation the most alarming being how you outlined that you had not used the bathroom prior to finding the mark on the toilet roll but then shared that you had found the mark after you dropped the roll on the floor. Again, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and for finally allowing us to respond albeit online rather than on the phone. We hope you enjoyed your time in Ireland. Kind regards

Is there an iron/ironing board in the room?
not in my room, but the front desk is very helpful and I am sure that they could get you one. The hotel is very, very convenient to the bus station and train.

Is there hairdryers supplies in the rooms?
Yes, there is, but they are anchored to the inside drawer of the desk in the room and a bit awkward to use. You cannot unplug them and move it either. So if you are really tall they won't work for you. I learned the hard way.

Hi, Is this Hotel handy for Croke Park and if so is it far to walk to?
Hey----Best bet is simply to take a cab---it's a long walk- and there are no direct buses----

is there parking?
The hotel has limited parking 12.50 euros per night? I did not use it, best bet is to contact the reception direct they are very helpful and can give the best advice.

Yes, you can park in Irish Life Insurance company’s car park, they have an agreement with them. If you pass the Hotel on your right hand side it is immediately around the next corner, sharp left.
