It is a cheap hotel, the bedrooms were very warm (wich is good because of the weather), the beds were very cozy, but the shower was awful (with no pressure and the hot water is almost cold sometimes), the breakfast is mediocre (but good considering the price of the hotel), altough the orange juice was awful. Besides that, the location...

We booked a twin room with an ensuite. Unusual for a YHA but we rang and emailed what we wanted and got an email confirmation. Got there and we had a twin room with a toilet. We were on a split level floor and on the next floor up there was two lots of mens shower rooms and no womens....

Stayed here during a drinking weekend in Dublin. Staff were friendly, beds were fine and the breakfast was good. Could have offered some more hot food to soothe the hangover than the selection of cereals and toast but couldn't complain for what we were paying. Location-wise it's a bit far out - about 30 minutes walk from most central stuff.

Large group of 50 students stayed. Bunk bed rooms, large open corridors. Huge place! Lockers for each room, but BRING YOUR OWN PADLOCK. Bedding provided and basic breakfast (juice, tea, coffee, toast, cereal). Wifi in lobby, not in rooms. Many toilets and shower room- separate sex. Sink and mirror in rooms, only one plug socket that is a down side....

Thank you for taking the time to comment, we hope you got home in one piece as 50 students abroad can be a boisterous affair. We are glad that you enjoyed your time here and although the Wifi is only available in the public areas of the hostel that this did not deter you from getting out and exploring Dublin....

horrible room, paint peeling off window sills, window wouldn't fully close, no sockets in room. Shower water intermittent and cold. OK, its a hostel, but still expect electricity in room!!! Breakfast included which was OK and staff were friendly. There's much better hostel accommodation in Dublin.

Thank you for taking the time to comment, we are continuously trying to improve our facilities and services of the hostel. With a building over 150 years old and it being a convent school for the area there wasn't as much necessity for plugs unlike today. We are in the process of rectifying this along with painting and re-flooring, which...

Great stay for one night. 10 minute walk from the city center, and simple but huge breakfast. I am sure I will go back again to this hostel. Friendly staff as well. Magnetic cards and Wifi are sometimes not working

Thank you very much for taking the time to comment. Staying in hostels can be a pretty amazing experience, more so for the interesting people that you meet and befriend. We are in the process of rectifying the plugs situation in the bedrooms so hopefully on your next visit to Dublin you will see the changes. For security and your...

This hostel is located about a 15 minute walk away from the river and town centre, and a 3-5 minute walk away from O'Connell street. The hostel is warm and tidy, and is full of character as it is set in a restored building. The WiFi is secure and available in all common areas. The kitchen is large enough and...
