Housed in beautifully refurbished Georgian townhouses overlooking two of Dublin's most beautiful parks - St. Stephen's Green and the Iveagh Gardens - this hotel has everything you could possibly need, from well appointed rooms, all with park or garden views to a beautiful large landscaped private garden where you can enjoy to relax and unwind during your stay. Rooms are bright, tastefully decorated and very comfortable. Facilities include ensuite bathrooms with bath or shower, VOYA toiletries, TV, direct dial telephone, hairdryer, complimentary water and tea and coffee facilities, robes and slippers and umbrellas. Superior rooms feature Nespresso machines and some other little extra touches. Highly commended at Georgina Campbell’s Irish Breakfast Awards 2020, Staunton’s breakfast is a morning delight. Having stayed many times in Stauntons I love the Hotel the location and the staff are lovely...having a view to their beautiful garden is a plus...this time do my room was lovely and an upgrade unfortunately I had a lot of noise from the occupants next door to me...no fault of the hotels do...it is a beautiful older building beautifully maintained with lovely touches in the room...Will definitely be back and maybe luckier next time with a quiet room as I am a very light sleeper...

What a beautiful quaint hotel. The staff were all so extremely accommodating and friendly between reception, dining and maintenance. It was like a home away from home. Would 10/10 recommend. The location is so central to town and a lovely area of Dublin City Centre. I'll definitely be back.

Stauntons on the Green has some of the best staff and service I have ever experienced in a hotel stay. Daren was exceptionally friendly, helpful and accommodating to every need. Other staff were excellent, too. (I am so very sorry for not getting everyone's name!) The location across from St. Stephen's Green is perfect to explore Dublin in any direction and is just a short walk to many good restaurants and bars. We highly recommend Stauntons and will stay here on our return to Dublin.

I had a very good stay. Staff were very friendly and super helpful. Great breakfast (portions were huge). Bed was very comfortable. Also appreciated the small touches like small box of chocolates and bottle of still water that was provided. The bathroom was really small (e.g. no place to put toiletries) but I managed. The only other thing was that the walls were super thin - I could hear my neighbours very clearly on both sides. Otherwise I would say it's a good hotel, great location right across from St Stephen's Green Park and quiet. Would recommend!

Stauntons on the Green is conveniently located within easy walking distance of Trinity College, the archeology museum, and many of the tourist sites, plus there is a tram stop virtually in front of the hotel. Our room was comfortable (with a good mattress) and offered a small patio where we could sit if the weather allowed. Breakfast was ample and delicious, and all members of the staff were friendly and helpful.

This is a phenomenal hotel - the service is amazing, breakfast was phenomenal and the rooms are very comfortable that you feel at home. I had a rain shower in my bathroom which was a great addition. Felt very comfortable my whole time here. It's on the other side of Grafton street and the Green so a little quieter. Just an FYI to anyone needing a lift- there is no elevator here as it's built of older homes. There are rooms on the entry floor so you may be able to request that

As a first timer in Dublin we learned a few things about Hotels in Ireland. No ice machines, no refrigerator in room, no elevator, no AC. No top sheet, This came as a shock to me. Irish seem to like "still water" warm. Having said that, the staff here are excellent. Tending to your every ask including how to open the window above the door (which has a sign on it not to leave open as critters may come in. Showed us how to reset the hair dryer. How to get a glass of cold water. The bathroom had a towel warmer. They have an excellent breakfast. Very helpful with directions, especially the one day streets were closed due to budget reading.

Hi Jlbod, Thank you for the feedback, We the team here at Stauntons on the Green really appreciate it. We are delighted to read that you enjoyed our Breakfast and that you felt looked after by the team at the Hotel. It is not common in Irish Hotels for ice machines to be available on the floors however ice is available up on request to a member of the team. Same applies for refrigerates & top sheets. As we are located beside the Iveagh Gardens and we have our own private garden we do have visits from squirrels and from time to time the odd fox, As the room you stayed in has a walkout option onto a patio. We feel its important to let our guests know about the wildlife that visits our Garden. Nothing to be concerned about. As we are a listed building being over 260 years old unfortunately we do not have a lift. We are restricted on what we can do with the building. Please note Air-conditioning is available in the rooms on the top floor of the building. Our hair dryers have safety press button which needs to held while in use.
