This hotel is close to the city centre on a busy street but this did not bother us as our room was at the back and very quiet. The layout is very much of the rabbit warren school of architecture being a number of Georgian houses (three I think) knocked into one. There are no lifts but resting landings halfway...

We stayed at Stauntons one night as we arrived in Dublin from a US flight. We planned to just drop our bags and tour until our room was ready, but our bags had been sent on another flight. The very helpful young man at the front desk offered to let us choose another room that was available at 9am. We...

This hotel was nice. The bed and pillows were comfortable, giving a good night's sleep (and, after all, isn't a good night's sleep the reason to go to a hotel?). The front desk personnel super helpful and very friendly. The one drawback? You need to walk blocks to get anywhere for dinner. Breakfasts are typical for this part of the...

Traveling companion and I spent 3 nights at Staunton's last week and we were very pleased with our stay. We took the Aircoach bus from Dublin Airport and it was just a short walk to Staunton's. I naively imagined this hotel would be on a quiet street across from a park and was a tad dismayed to see this was...

We stayed for 2 nights & the best thing about the hotel is its fabulous central location opposite the park. For what we paid, 80 euros a night per room, we felt we still got value for money but that said I wouldn't have been happy if I had paid anymore! The hotel is more outdated than traditional & I...

We enjoyed our one night stay; we arrived via the airport bus (only 7 euros each way and the stop is just over a block away) to early to check in but the hotel was happy to hold our bags while we explored Dublin. The location is great - about a 5 minute walk from the main shopping area and...

My husband and I stayed here for four nights and could not have been happier. The location is perfect for walking anywhere in Dublin and the staff was very helpful with great recommendations for restaurants. Being right across the street from St. Stephens Green was a real treat and we enjoyed our walks through there everyday.

Stayed here on my recent work visit to Dublin. It's a B&B and try not to expect much from here. Even though the staff were quite welcoming, the rooms are really small like box rooms, very old fashioned, and really out dated. The room did stink of an old smell and the shower was dirty. No room service or anything....

Stayed here two nights and what a treat! The location is perfect for shopping, museum hopping and the sights. It's a bit of a walk to get to Red Line Luas or Dart stations, but not a big deal at all. The hotel is a cute Georgian building in which everything seems to be on a slant. it's ancient...it happens....

Enjoyed our stay at Staunton's. We arrived in Dublin at 6:30am. The hotel was wonderful in allowing us to drop our bags before check-in,while we spent the day touring. Hotel is walkable to most popular sites. Rooms were clean, downside.. lots of stairs to get to and from rooms, dining room. Guess it's to be expected in an old manor...
