It was very hard trying to decide on a rating for this b&b as we had so many mixed feelings.. on arrival Paul welcomed us with seat in the lounge and a cup of tea and choccy biscuits, which was gratefully received as we had had a very long day and were extremely tired , and although there is nothing...

Great location in Dublin. Easy walk downtown to shops, restaurants and bars. Lovely people, delicious breakfast - clean and comfortable rooms. Very helpful with tips on how to get around. Nice living room, but only available to guests at breakfast time.

We stayed for just a night and it was great. The hosts were so welcoming, helpful, and accommodating with our travel schedule! A bit of a walk into the city center, but well worth it for the quiet streets for sleeping at night. Beautiful room and shower, Breakfast was fantastic, definitely recommend!

A great B&B in the Dublin area. It is situated in Portobello, not in the very center of the city, but still central. In doing so, you find yourself in walking distance from the - often overcrowded - tourist area, but still having a rather real "Dublin-experience". The rooms including the bathroom are rather small but newly renovated. The breakfast...

Had a great three night stay with Paul and Eileen within walking distance of City Center. Walked everywhere and enjoyed the city and the hospitality. Eileen's restaurant and further travel suggestions were perfect. We'd highly recommend a stay with the Coughlin's.

Portobello B&B was absolutely perfect for our family's trip to Dublin. We had 6 adults, 3 rooms a piece and the B&B suited us wonderfully. Each couple had their own room and bathroom which were very private and clean. Eileen and Paul were wonderful hosts. Every morning we'd wake up and have our own table to enjoy their home cooked...

Eileen is an exemplar hostess and Paul is welcoming and charming as well. The residence has a great location as mentioned. The rooms are well-maintained and very comfortable, and the bathroom is en suite. Breakfast is always a plus, and these owners provide a hearty start to the day. Portobello strikes a good balance of cozy and updated. If you...

Eileen and Paul were lovely hosts and have a beautiful B&B. Very easy to access from the airport or city center, €3.30 on the 16 bus straight there from the airport or even just a 20 minute walk to the city center. Nice restaurants, cafes, and pubs nearby. Beds were made every day and breakfast was nice with many options...

Great b&b in a great location. There is a bus stop right outside the b&b which can be taken into the city. Or walking into the city would take just over 10mins The woman, Aileen was so helpful. When we wanted to know what things we could do in Dublin she always had suggestions and would help us find our...
