I stayed here on Friday & Saturday 27th & 28th Jan. Olton on the desk was very helpful and accommodating. I was with three of my other colleagues room was a bit small, cleanliness was ok, bathroom: shower needs fixing as water goes everywhere get really cold at night as the heating is taken off. We were able to use...

Cheap and close enough to the city centre! Rooms were ok but really worn and were in big need of renovation!!! Breakfast was nothing special and the breakfast room so small so that there were not enough seats for everyone! There are, or at least should be, better cheap places in Dublin!!!!

Don't expect any luxury here but if you are after good accommodation for a great price it's worth a visit. Staff are extremely friendly and very helpful. Great location for some great bars and restaurants outside Dublin centre but only a 15 minute walk and your in temple bar. On a main bus route so easy to get to and...

Good location - directly across the street from the no. 16 bus pick-up, which goes to the airport and the major intercity bus stops. Great value for money - low priced and simple. Adequate breakfast, clean room, hot water, wifi, free bike rentals, TV in room, DVDs available for free. Nothing fancy, but everything you need.

Location is good, architecture of the house is charming, room small but with a private bathroom and a gorgeous view to St. Kevin”s curch, basic breakfast, nice staff. On the downside: narrow schedule of warm water, poor soundproof of the room and a little chilly. Good value for money though.

We stayed at the hostel in May 2016. The staff was great and the breakfast was OK, and contrary to what is stated here we did have good wifi reception in our room. The hostel is a 15 minute walk from Temple Bar, which is great because you can easily get there and also you're not stuck inside all the...

Harrington House Hostel is best budget place to stay in Dublin. It's nice and clean, friendly staff, very well located near the center of Dublin. Direct link to he Dublin Airport, bus 16. Now, WiFi in the rooms is no more of a problem, as I saw in an older review.

Wi-fi did not work in the room, it was rather cold there, and the guy at the reception charged my Russian-issue card in roubles despite my mentioning that the currency of the account is euro, and I lost about 7% of the room price due to back-and-forth currency conversions.

Not very welcome and didn't give us additional information about the rooms. We only found out the second day we couldn't shower after 10am. We had to wait until 6pm for hot water. They only gave us one towel and at the end of our stay it was cold and wet. The nights were very cold, the blanket very thin,...

“Room with private bathroom and nice view.”

“Room 1 at the very top of the hostel is quieter in terms of street and within hostel noise. It's ideal for a couple or solo. Larger family rooms are in the basement, which are also a bit quieter. I had one room on the second floor facing the main street which was definitely the noisiest in terms of street noise and hearing other people moving around the hostel.”
