An older hotel with charm, but lots going on in the surrounding streets until the wee hours. Most of the sights in Dublin are within easy walking distance -- easy access to the pedestrian shopping area, Trinity College, historic pubs and on and on. Don't miss the chance to have a drink (or tea) in the Library.

Awful... Noise - more noise from inside the hotel than from outside i.e doors banging and loud talking late at night from other guests Rooms: Shower: very low pressure I could not rinse my hair very well I had to use the bath Hairdryer: if you put it on the fast blow the pipe disconnected from the dryer so you...

I used the "contact us" link of the hotels web site to ask about parking and 11 days later I am still waiting for a reply. I booked a double room and while the bed was confortable the pillows were so flat it was like sleeping directly on the matress. The bathroom was tiny. The shower was so small I...

My wife and I picked this hotel due to the location and found that we had made a GREAT choice! Not only were we close to everything Dublin has to offer, but the staff treated us very well. If we ever get back we will definitely stay there again!

Positives: 1) Location - easy walking distance to St Stephens Green, Grafton Street, Trinity College, Temple Bar, etc. 2) Lots of places to eat within the immediate vicinity, including a supermarket for grabbing water, etc Negatives: 1) Double room is very small (we could just about walk around the bed). 2) Although we got a 'quiet' room at the back...

i visited the hotel with five others for a non-stag weekend and we found it pretty much ideal. it's quite old-school in appearance but that makes a nice change from corporate blandness. the location is great for just about anywhere in Dublin (pretty much all you could want in walking distance) although you do pay the obvious price for that...

We just loved this hotel! The location couldn't have been better being close to Grafton Street's shopping and Temple Bar's nightlife but far enough were you will get some sleep. There is also a hotel bar called the Library which is worth a look and an adjacent gastropub called exechequer that has really good food. The rooms were spectacular! We...

I recently spent 2 nights at the Central Hotel and had a good experience. The location is very good if you want to be in Temple Bar. It is definatly close to all the pubs and night life. That being said, it isn't a quiet location. I personally didn't have an issue but other guests were complaining. ALthough I found...

Me and my 2 friends had a lovely experience with this hotel. We arrived super early and they let us have a 7.30am check in at no extra cost which was well needed and appreciated. All the receptionist were extremely friendly and helpful and told us what places/pubs we should visit. They really helped planning our day as we were...
