Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Stayed for 1 night when attending concert. Great value for money stay. Room is tiny and basic however excellent for a base in Dublin. Room is cheap for Dublin prices and hotel is very central. The luas runs right outside so we could easy get it down to the 3 arena which was great. We had food delivery to the hotel when we got back, no issues with this at all. The only down side was at check in they required a driving license or passport which we didn’t have, as we were not travelling out of the country and didn’t have our cars with us, we had other ID but they refused to accept it, I eventually had to ask to speak to a manger who explained there policy, which is understandable with people travelling to the city from outside of Ireland without ID and giving the hotel at their address, however we live in Ireland and from our student and work ID I didn’t think this should have been an issue. The manger lady was accommodating for us and did allow us to proceed with our stay to our relief!! Good stay and would stay again!! Thanks guys.

Booked online through hotels.com. Taxi from airport was €30- didn’t pre book just went to taxi rank. Lots there. Check in was quick - had to show photo id. Too are small but very clean and quiet. Perfect base to explore. Trams run outside so for €3 return you can zip around the city. 15 min walk along river to temple bar, 10 Mins to Guinness store. But if you want a meal walk into Stoneybatter for real local pubs. Reception helpful/ booked us a return taxi, gave us free coffee. Honestly this hotel is ideal as a Dublin base.

Check in quick and straightforward. Stayed in room 228 was nice room. Room was clean and well laid out except bed under window, you could feel the draft coming in. Not much room to hang clothes up, could easily put few hangers on wall. Bathroom was nice and good shower plenty hot water. Very near the Museum luas stop which was handy for getting to places. I wouldn't hesitate in booking again and staff very friendly and attentive. Nice place down the road for breakfast called wuff and late tesco shop at Smithfield stop is handy to get snacks water for room. Just remember to get off at Museum luas not and not the Smithfield one!

This is a very basic hotel, but was everything I needed for a short stay. Exceptionally clean and well equipped with soap, shower gel and loo roll. Checking in and out was easy and the key card to use the lifts and get through the doors made the hotel feel safe. Easy walk to many attractions. If you stay here, visit The Cobblestone pub not far away for a true Irish pub experience. Knocked one star off as I felt the room was cold and I couldn’t get the heater to blow out anything other than cool air.

Easyhotel Dublin City is a great location for a short stay for leisure or business. Conveniently located near Smithfield with access to the Luas. It’s an ideal location for business and leisure in the city centre. Staff were so helpful with queries I had. Property is also new and modern.

Basic and clean, location is good (if you know Dublin). No breakfast or facilities. Staff were friendly. Was woken in the night by very noisy people (sounded like it was staff members) carrying on as if it was the middle of the day and banging doors.

Dear GIE68, Thank you for choosing to stay with us and for taking your time to leave us a review. We understand your frustration regarding the lack of facilities in our rooms; our value proposition focuses on offering guests a “super price” and this has been achieved by keeping things to a minimum. Our rooms are purposely designed with minimal facilities to enable you to enjoy and discover the city instead of staying in your room. Although we do not provide coffee and tea facilities in our rooms, you can find a hot drinks machine and our vending machines providing soft drinks and snacks at reception. Also, do not hesitate to go the reception to ask for their recommendations for great local restaurants nearby. We hope to see you again soon in any one of our locations across Europe. I stayed here as I was going to a concert with a friend. I found the hotel to be of extremely good value. The hotel was ideally situated in the city centre. It was absolutely spotless. Immaculate. Staff were also very friendly. I did find the rooms to be on the small side. However, For a business trip or a night's stay for a concert etc it is ideal. It's not a "treat" of a hotel as such but it is 100% recommended for a place to stay for a quick stay.

You get what you pay for here and it was one of the cheapest rooms in Dublin - it’s hard to expect too much. Checkin was fine although they insist on photo ID which I wouldn’t normally have with me. Staff were friendly. The rooms themselves are very small. Basically inside your front door there is a small corridor that leads to a bed with the absolute minimum of space around it. There is very little space for anything and 2 people in the room would be very cramped. It was however very clean and the bathroom was nice. Although the Luas runs outside there was little or no noise. I did find the bed way too firm for me.. there was barely any give in the mattress. However as I said at the start, for one of the cheaper rooms in Dublin it is worth a look.

Good hotel, perfect for a weekend stay. The hotel staff are extremely friendly and helpful, they even decorated me and my partners room before we arrived as it was his birthday which I thought was very sweet. Room was looked after and clean. :)

The hotel room was really small, no space for luggage, and not for two people - a real rat trap! We stayed for three nights and there was no cleaning once - the trash is overflowing in the trash can! The towels are wet, they don't have time to dry. All this is described by the word ecology. In reality, the hotel does not have to offer services to the customer or pay for them. I do not recommend!
