The only good thing we could say about this "hotel" is location. Instead the lift gets you from a bar somewhere to the Spa but not to the 3° floor where we've stayed. Adding the row first steps to the "reception" makes 4 full set of stairs, incredible. Room was smelly- sewage coming from the sinks...even with open windows... There...

Stayed here for 2 nights in Jan 2017. Amazing reception from staff, could not do enough for you which as a first impression was great. Top marks for service. Tidy large room - little noisy due to pub / club downstairs, which is also very good. Great walkable location to everything. Airport shuttle bus stops and picks up just round...

Was here on Saturday at the spa. Both my friend and I got the Dawson taster. I got the mini facial, indian head massage and back massage. I have to say hands down it was the best back massage i have ever gotten. The girl was lovely also! The spa is well worth trying especially for price in the location....

I'm not very fussy but I do like a hot shower in the morning and always look forward to a full cooked breakfast. This morning the water was lukewarm so no hit shower and I when I went for breakfast at 7.20am (it starts at 7am) I was advised the chef was late so hit food would be 15 mins....

Stayed here on a business trip. The staff really friendly which makes all the difference. The hotel is advertised as a four star, it isn't really. All a bit dated and tired. Not convinced it was value for money I am afraid.

I stayed at the Dawson hotel in late January for one night in the Junior Suite (321). Upon arrival I found the hotel to be charming and situated in the heart of Dublin with lots of restaurants and bars around within walking distance. After checking in the gentleman on reception offered to carry my bags tomorrow which I appreciated because...

I have stayed here twice, once with my boyfriend and once with my sister and mother for a girlie weekend away. we were staying in the room above the bar both times which i was made aware of before my stays. this was fine as on both occasions my party and I were going out anyway so noise was not...

The location is amazing but, I wasn't impressed, really. I had a nice time and the staff at reception was nice and smiley but the room itself, not what I'd expect from a 4* with these prices. The decor was good, but the room was loud. Also, the lift can only be used when the bar downstairs is open and...

We had the suite at the front of the hotel which overlooks the mansion house. It is beautifully furnished with antique furnishings. The standalone bath in the ensuite is sensational. We've stayed here twice and on the previous occasion we had a small room at the rear above the bar which we were told could be a bit noisy but...
