Stayed here for a week whilst working in Dublin. It's about 10 mins taxi ride from the city centre, so usually a little cheaper than the large central hotels, unless there is a big concert or Gaelic football match on at the Croke Park Stadium...More

At the airport there are two choices as I recall; the airport shuttle and a local bus (I can't remember the number but the Croke Park Hotel told me and will tell you). Contrary to what the hotel told me, you can't buy tickets in the airport for the local bus but you do pay upon entering the bus. That's why I did. The fare is in the region of 3-4 Euro and you have to have the right change ready. The local bus doesn't have a great deal of room for luggage and can get busy (single decker and standing room only). Also, both buses take longer than you think to get to and from town. Allow an hour though it could be 40 minutes.
