A room above a classic (and still very popular) Irish Pub.... in Dublin city centre... just a stumble from St. Stephen's Green. There really is no need to go any further but I will... I arrived early on a Sunday morn, it was cold, I was cold, I just flew in (and boy my arms were tired...) and way early...

After a longish run-on day ... "just one (each) on the way home ... like the old days". We couldn't resist walking past .. and went down the lane. Singing. Music. Cold but there are patio heaters. The inside was less crowded, and we were closer to the pints. "2 nice pints of Mr.G, please". And they were - nice,...

For us this was top of our 'must do list' while in Dublin and did not disappoint. Full of atmosphere, busy yet friendly and welcoming. The staff were happy to chat to us while serving drinks about the history of this pub. For anyone with an interest in Irish music the pictures that literally cover the walls in here are...

One of the oldest pubs I have seen during my stay in Dublin. The staff was really nice, the atmosphere was cozy and the beer was good - as always. :-) I liked that there were tables to sit outside in a smoking area. Heating was provided, so it wasn't even cold. People say that it's the Pub where 'The...

I was here in a group of 16 on Friday night. 7 of which were drinking Guinness including myself none of us could finish our second pints they were that bad. Very surprising with the reputation it has for Guinness. One staff member was rude when we mentioned the Guinness was poured fast. They were all poured in advance and...

Great reputation for music and VIP callers, friendly staff,Guinness not great 5/10,but the toilets are disgusting, totally unacceptable in this age. I noticed that the three men ahead of me in the smelly loo didn't bother to wash their hands,no soap and a very slow hand drier.

Went in, room looked ok - till we discovered horrific stains on bathroom floor, stains on sheets and radiator not working. Thought radiator might be on a timer so waited till we had a shower at night and still freezing, so went down to bar and explained situation - one of the guys from bar and hubby went up and...

Came in here after the rugby game. Pub was jam packed but some how squeezed myself into a snug corner at the bar. Watching the bar staff work was great. They were all in a good mood, having the banter, polite and the most efficient bar staff I've ever met. Even with a packed pub they made it run smoothly....
