This hotel is quite lively. The only unfortunate thing is having to carry suitcases up and down stairs. Breakfast which is in included with your stay was good. It is an irish breakfast and included croissants, danishes, cereals, yogurt and several meats and pudding. Coffee, fresh orange juice, etc was also available. I never missed breakfast. The staff were all very warm and friendly. The restaurant offered traditional irish selections and "drink" along with live irish music and a dance performance.

We went there a few years ago 5/99, so I think its only fair to give a brief review, clean with daily towel and bedding changes, superb filling breaky with a full cooked Irish with white pudding yum, cereal and fresh juice etc! 5 minute walk from the dart and train station, its a good 30-40 minute walk to Grafton Street depending on fitness lol, 5 minutes in a taxi 8 euros if that! in my book 10/10, just the place if your doing a 6 nation weekender with great watering holes with in a 5 minute walk!!!! Blyth Am Cymru!!!!

Our trip was primarily to visit family in England, however I was surprised for my birthday with a 3 day excursion to Dublin. We stayed at the Old Dubliner B&B and everything about this place was fantastic, top notch! The rooms are very clean and well kept, the batrooms are super clean and well stocked, the sitting room is very inviting, and the traditional included Irish breakfast is up with the best I've had. The location is in the Georgian district, not far from anything to walk to as we did, and we did all the "tourist" things. The outside ambience is as charming as the service and charachter found inside. This is where we are planning to return to on our next visit.
