The Abbey Court hostel and Apartments are located in the very centre of Dublin City, at O'Connell Bridge and within walking distance of all the popular city attractions. It is a family-run business and we pride ourselves in the warmth of our welcome. With private rooms and dormitories ranging from four to twenty-four beds, we cater for lone travelers, couples, groups of friends and larger group bookings. Included in your stay is free breakfast and free WIFI through out. There is always something to do as there is a games room, cinema room, hammock room, large common area and plenty more. Staff are available 24 hours for any advice needed and there is no curfew. Its cleanliness, great friendly vibe, location and low prices make it the best hostel in Dublin.

Thank you for your review, we are disappointed you did not enjoy your stay, We are in the process of updating the hostel at the moment and I will certainly look into your remarks that there was tools not put away as I agree is not acceptable. We encourage all our stay to welcome all guests and show them Irish hospitality if you do not believe this was what you received I will again look into the matter further. While we do offer large dorms we also have smaller ones available which may have been more accommodating to your needs. The room itself however is a large dorm that is advertised as being so and with one ensuite facility in the room however there are numerous showers and bathroom facilities through out the hostel to avail of. I hope for the most part you enjoyed your stay and time in Dublin!

Located at the heart of the city makes it easier for you to get around. I had wished to stay longer but booked last minute. The staff was very friendly and helped with luggage upstairs and ready to answer any questions. Definitely value for money!

The location of the Hostel is just amazing, very close to everything and hop on hop off buses are stopping just in front of the Hostel. Having just 5 power points in a room for 12, in 2019 is a joke. I expected 2 plugs next to each bed as shown on the pictures. Unfortunately,

You are no more than a 25 minute walk to all the BIG attractions and places in Dublin! Our stay was 3 days over Christmas and we had a really nice time. The room and bathrooms were very clean as well as the common areas. Very friendly staff and again super close to everything!

Screeching Drawers make a really horrible grating sound worse than a rusty old gate on an abandoned derelict site or metal claws on a blackboard.

I gauged the room I was staying in. Sometimes I had it locked in the cage under my bed sometimes I didn’t. The cage is quite large so would fit large pieces of luggage.

Are airport transfers available ?
Yes, there are aiport transfers available but those are not offered by the hostel. I took one direct transfer bus named 700, this bus will take you there in about 25minutes or less than that depending on trafic and timetables. The price that I paid was 8 euros. I hope it helps and I do apologies for the late response. have a nice stay.

Yes, there are lockers in the back as well as you can lock up bags at the front desk (but they charge 3-6 dollars) per day (I did this and it was worth it just bit worrying about my bags). Best of luck!
