Not sure why some folks have said that Rock Lodge is difficult to find...our GPS took us right to it. As far as location, you really couldn't ask for a better one. If you walk out of the front door and turn to the left, the ocean and aquarium is about a 10 minute walk away; if you turn right,... More

My mom and I stayed at Rock Lodge for 1 night at the beginning of September and had a great time! Rock Lodge B&B is a huge, old home that is absolutely gorgeous; I would've loved to have stayed much longer than 1 night. Besides the great house and hospitality, the location can't be beat. It is a 2 minute... More

We stayed one night here on a week long trip to Ireland. This was the best B&B we experienced. We were greeted by "Birdie" who quickly made us feel like we had been friends for decades. There is ample off street parking and free WiFi. Breakfast was pretty much made to order. The clean are and nicely decorated. The house... More

we only stayed here one night, and it was a nice clean room. the location was within a 10 minute , easy walk to the main area of town. the bathrooms and showers are very tiny and the rooms are quite small as well... but for one night to stay and rest, it was fine. wifi worked well .

From Bridies B&B you reach all important courses in minutes or in case of Connemara Links just over one hour. Back in Galway you walk less then 10 minutes to enter the pint-zone. Breakfast is good. Rooms are good. Beds are very good. Shower cabine typical kind of narrow. Host Bridie? She is very very helpful.

We had a great stay at Rock Lodge! Mrs. Birdie was so friendly! The B&B was so cute and easy to find. Our bathroom was very small, but the room was spacious enough to suit our needs. The breakfast was delicious. A nice place to stay in Galway!

This was our second stop in our "Taste of Ireland" tour through Air Canada. We were here for two nights, ideally located. The location is on a busy street, however the windows and coverings made for a quiet sleep. Your GPS will only get you close... we had to stop at one of the other many B&Bs in this area... More

Upon our arrival, Bridie was kind and welcoming. She took time to get us familiar with the location. You walk a couple blocks one direction and you are standing on a sandy beach. You walk a couple blocks the other direction and you in town. Outstanding location. The rooms were comfortable and accommodated our needs. Bridie's breakfast was plentiful with... More

Hard to find because sign had fell down, street name has 3 diff ends like ave, park, street, kinda frustrating. Close enough to town. Nothing special, usual bed & b, first night other residents spent half hour trying to open/close door that kept me awake half the night so only slept 4 hours before our tour in the morn.

Very clean and cosy B & B on a quiet street with good parking. The rooms are decent size with a nice bathroom attached. A short walk in the city center of Galway. Breakfast was good and made to order. Bridie was super sweet.
