Great location, staff was personable. But they seem to cater to groups. The groups all have social connection, so a solo traveler is very much alone, more so than any other hostel where I've stayed. Meeting new people is for me, an integral part of the hostel experience.

My one night stay was very nice, wish they'd had the availability through my entire time in Galway. Bed fell on the hostel side of comfortable and they don't assign beds so you aren't stuck with an upper bunk when a lower one is available. Ironically, despite the hostel being booked for the weekend, the night I was there hit...

I stayed here thankfully it was just overnight as I got no sleep. I was in a dorm with friends so that wasn't the issue. I slept in the bottom bunk, my friend above me. Every time she moved the bed squeeked loudly, unfortunately for me she moved a lot. You can have the best facities in the world; but...

Stayed in double bed private room (201) perfect size for myself and my friend. Bathroom was clean, shower was ok - quite hard to switch on. On Saturday, we left to go for lunch and walk to Salthill. Arrived back to the room to find our door had been left open by the staff - we knew this because pizza...

Very good service, staff were brilliant. Very clean rooms and beds. Security was very good, needed a room key to enter the building which we were asked for every night, so no worries of people breaking into room from outside hostel. The common rooms were great, pool table, tvs, couches, kitchen to cook food! Highly recommend

Stayed here for 2 nights for a stag and was very comfortable and cheap. The beds were really comfy and the room was really clean. The hostel is located right in the middle of eyre square so was within walking distance of everything you needed and for only €50 for the 2 nights.

The staff at Kinlay house are very friendly and accommodating and the facilities are equally lovely. The 4 bedroom ensuite private room we had was not only highly clean aired and warm during the night but also well equppied with towels, a flat screen tv and soap. I was also impressed with the modern common area and corridors which were...

You can bring you own drinks and chill in the lounge which is handy. Good showers. Nice and central yeah all round nice spot however my...

Overall a good hostel. Stayed in a six bed female dorm and it was clean. It also had some shelving which was useful. Bathroom was okay and sink on the outside of the bathroom was handy. Breakfast was good and generally staff were pretty friendly.
