My daughter, studying at UL for a semester, and I visited Galway for four nights. We found the location perfect - bus stop at the end of the street. Breakfasts were delicious and the home is lovely. Mary and Tom built this house as a B&B, and it shows. They have thought of a visitors' needs in so many ways....

Four 50-somethings stayed here as our "base of operations" during our 3 days in Galway. It is not within easy walking distance of downtown Galway which is both a plus and a minus. It is on the bus route which was very convenient. Good on-site parking, good bedrooms, the best breakfast and very helpful/friendly owners makes this a great choice....

Mary was the perfect hostess for our stay in her lovely home in Salthill. We were served hot tea and a sweet upon our arrival. It is conveniently located a short walk to the beach and the promenade. She made us reservations for the ferry to Inish Mor and gave us directions. The breakfasts were amazing. Delicious. Large portions. You...

I am wirting on the behalf on my parents who stayed at the Marless House last week of October. As I booked for them the bed & breakfast (I am living in Dublin and they were visiting me), I looked on the internet for a lovely B&B with nice reviews. I have finally chosen the Marless House and was expecting...

We've stayed with Mary & Tom a number of times and we'll recommend them to everyone. There isn't a better B&B in Salthill/Galway It's the little things that Mary does for my wife when we stay there. Tell her Andy from Bangor sent you... Wonderful!

We had picked this B&B because our neighbors had stayed here a couple years ago and highly recommended it. So-the bar was certainly set high - but It was easily exceeded by the Marless House and our gracious hosts Mary and Tom. We spoke mostly with Mary, who has to be one of the nicest, warmest B&B hosts we met....

...... that gives you shelter, bed and breakfast and that’s it. Marless House on the opposite is a place you feel absolutely welcome from the first glance because of the spirit this house is inhabitating. You are welcomed in a very well equipped location by four-decade experienced owners, which fulfill almost every wish in general and particularly with regard to...

I had a difficult time deciding whether to stay in Galway or in the very near extension of Salthill. Since I had a car and was going to do some day trips, Salthill was easier to get in and out of and I liked the idea of being near the sea. Marless House is a one minute walk! Cramped 6...

We absolutely loved staying here - we were sad she was booked so much of our stay when we called, but when we arrived for the 2 nights we could stay we understand why! Mary is such a sweetheart and is ready and willing to pull out a map and direct you and inform you of everywhere you want to...

Stayed here for 3 nights during our recent Ireland tour. House is a bit outside of Galway's city center, and while it is a comfortable walk to the 'Salt Hill' amusement area, it's not really walking distance to old Galway, so public transport might be in order for a stop there. We rented a car, so weren't really paying attention...
